Dave Goldberg, SurveyMonkey CEO and husband of Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, died suddenly Friday night, his family announced Saturday. He was 47. I'm taking into account his company is a nothing and she is somebody at a real company. SC http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/business/2015/05/02/dave-goldberg-sheryl-sandberg-death/26773429/ -

"Mr. King is where he wishes to be," Toney [power of attorney] said. "He's always told me he doesn't want to be in a hospital. He wanted to be at home." That's clearly end-of-life talk. I keep guessing early but here I go again. May 11, 4am local time. SirC

"Brown's death is another loss of one of golf's African-American pioneers this year. Brown's friend and fellow trailblazer, Charlie Sifford, died in February at age 92, while 12-time Tour winner Calvin Peete died earlier this week at age 71." Shit that's--along with Lee Elder (the late)--the entire African-American golfing roster until the late 80s when Vijay and Eldrick appeared. All lost to is in a two month span. Wow. SC

Time to get this party started instead of jabbering. I don't care if it's a peripheral family member, but Walter Cronkite's grandson does the deed at his college dorm. And that's the way it was, April 29. I'm posting the link to give YoungWilz credit. SC http://www.deathlist.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=947&p=225789

I'm out. Darn... I think the only ones left in the running are myself, Deathray and Magere Hein (with Toast perhaps, as having a floating date with Martin Crowe). Well, I'm top 4, I'll take that. I'll root for your guess then! I'm still thinking girl though. Yeah, I'm out, unless we find they had it in secret on the 23rd SC

Dammit -- a perfectly good chance to use the Suicide thread.... wasted away. SC Ha Sir C, I didn't even know there was one. Felt it was more pertinent here (plus it seems the thread hasn't been tagged as Dead) Edit: Thanks, it has now. Still can't find a specific Suicide thread though, must be missing something. http://www.deathlist.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=7763&p=225362

When I wrote this dude down as a potential 2015 pick I thought he was the keyboardist in Cameo, not Camel. Word up!

Sorry to report that Camel keyboardist Guy LeBlanc has died after a battle with cancer. The 54-year-old was forced to sit out the band's tour dates last year after being diagnosed with kidney cancer which later spread to his bones.
