L. Tom Perry (92) has thyroid cancer and will begin radiation treatment. Perry is the second-most senior member of the high-level Mormon governing body called the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. He is also the oldest of the group. The church also said that Richard G. Scott (86), another member of the Quorum, was hospitalized Thursday night with gastrointestinal bleeding. Scott is resting now after the bleeding was brought under control. That's right, Sir Creep don't play around. He brings you two names at a time! Sounds like it will be the Quorum of the Ten Apostles soon. Perry's TREATMENT is going to kill him dead. He won't see 2016 or Sir Creep will convert. Aye, a shock I'm coping, mind I saw the headline on the news and I thought "who?" So I did some searching, looked up the show "Everybody's Loves Raymond" and still had no idea So we could do Everybody Loves Raymond under Trades Descriptions law, then? Noone is going to watch a show called "A reasonably large number of people are at least aware that Raymond exists" Nor a show called "Everyone Loves entertaining comic dialogue by one of our generation's great comedians, but the efforts of Raymond Romano will do. I've wondered why, with all the categories, we don't have one called Suicides, where we put them all. I particularly like the jumpers and may damn well start up a jumper thread next participant. SC I thought about that as well, but for some reason, it was too morbid for me. I think that would be too much misery in one place. Fear not, we already have a thread for the suicidal: http://www.deathlist.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=3665&hl=suicidal Terribly underused---a fact that will change I hope. Thanks! SC I think it would be a difficult one to call. Those that give out hints, might just be calling for help and get it in time to be saved but those who have decided on this as a course of action tend to keep thier own council. If your friend asks you "Should I kill myself?" outside of seriously sick and messed up chat rooms you are going to say "Hell No, what is wrong, is there anything I can do to help?" The only ones that could have been predicted with any accuracy would be those like Fred West or Harold Shipman and they would go in a different thread. I see it as more of 'after the fact'. Like about three weeks ago we had some K-pop girl jump off a building same day as the NY cherry King was busted for embezzlement etc and hung himself. That woulda been a nice 2-fer for the day. As for 'other categories' many of the people we post could be put in a few categories though they are more recognized for one attribute than the rest. As I've only slightly joked, what do we do with a gay Cardinal from Belgium who is serving a life sentence? It's whoever posts first I guess, makes the call. SC

News anchors go here? Hope so. Longtime Atlanta news anchor Monica Pearson has revealed she's been diagnosed with liver cancer. The former WSB-TV anchor says she was diagnosed in December and had surgery in January to remove more than 50 percent of her liver. People I Was Surprised To Find Are Still Alive
Sir Creep replied to Catherine's topic in DeathList Forum
After coming across this 2013 article: http://mobile.philly.com/news/?wss=/philly/news&id=231493261 I was stunned to find that former Pennsylvania Senator Vince Fumo, who lived in federal prison 2010-2014, and who has had heart attacks and prostate cancer, is well and good at 70. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vince_Fumo "This is not the first serious health trouble for Fumo, 70, who has had three heart attacks. The most recent heart attack happened while he was still in federal prison in Ashland, Ky. in January." SC -

Zamo? "Just say no" springs to mind... Her son Ryan may have only been a CO-founder of Z Cosmetics, but was the sole founder of his mom's corpse in the hallway. SC

"Karen Zamo, the 57-year old co-founder of Z Skin Cosmetics was discovered dead, by her son, Ryan Zamo, the co-founder of the brand. The 25-year-old son found his mom on the hallway floor after returning home from a business trip, and local paramedics pronounced her dead on-the-scene. Karen had reportedly been admitted last weekend to a local hospital after collapsing, but against doctor's orders, was released last Wednesday....."
