I use the term 'journalist' loosely and with wreckless disregard, but uber popular American TV host John Stossel has lung cancer. May he die as miserable a death as our health care system will allow.

Pete Zorn, a different person to Pete Yorn, dead at 65,
So he was a musician w Richard Thompson, which pulls this into Fairport Convention discussions we've had in a couple threads. Look for another FC hit this year. It's symbiotic.

Milt Pappas, who won more than 200 big league games but whose most memorable, if unlucky, legacy is that he was traded for the future Hall of Fame outfielder Frank Robinson in what has been considered one of the most lopsided exchanges in baseball history, died on Tuesday at his home in Beecher, Ill. He was 76.
His death was confirmed by his wife, Judi, who said she was unsure of the cause.

I just opened it from my FB posting but hey maybe so. Thus, Sir Creep has done the most helpful thing he can think of:Hit, run, issue injunction on herald tribune quick sharp pronto apparently as the article is already "no longer available".
" - A Florida man killed after being struck not once, not twice, but three times on a busy roadway in Orlando has investigators searching for two suspected hit-and-run drivers.
The Florida Highway Patrol says 39-year-old Rasheed Wiggins was standing in the grassy median of Universal Boulevard and Destination Parkway Saturday night when a car veered into him, sending him onto the roadway, where another car ran him over. Then cab driver, Fito Pierre, 47, who didn't see Wiggins, rolled over him. Pierre remained on scene to talk to troopers.
FHP investigators say they have few leads on the two suspected hit-and-run drivers. The first car was "a newer, white" car; the second car, also white with "a female driving."
FHP is asking for the public's help. Tipsters can call 407-737-2213."

Adel - She just found out that she is not thought as highly as she thought she should be, no nominations from her peers at the Ivor Novello awards.
Apparently spelling is overrated.

Obscene, radical conservative US pundit Erick Erickson had pulmonary embolism and "should be dead", but isn't:

He made the long list for Gris Gris team but he simply wasn't old enough to crack the roster. No one under 60 made the team, and only a couple under 70 like Sirhan Sirhan for obvious reasons.

Winthrop University, a relatively small school in South Carolina, lost two members of their athletic Hall of Fame in one week -- both killed in auto accidents. One was heading to a fund-raiser to help others and the other got drilled by a police vehicle on its way to assist others in another car accident.

Americans buy breadcrumbs! Not sure why some Americans are offended by this
If I remember correctly, there's a shop in Kent that sells brands that you don't usually find in other countries that have been imported from the U.S. which a lot of the same stuff.
Especially when it comes to chocolate. There's a lot of difference between the taste of Nestle, Cadbury's (UK) and Cadburys (made at the Hershey's factory), and just regular Hershey's.
Hershey's milk chocolate tastes more like dark chocolate.
So do the English, but yes you can buy breadcrumbs in the shops. It's a convenience item. Much in the same way as shredded cheese.
This way you don't have to dry out a loaf of bread, and crumble it up before you can use it.
Calling breadcrumbs a convenience item and following it with that sentence, well hell, I'll call BREAD a convenience item then. You don't have to get the flour and yeast together, the drudgery of making a loaf and popping in the oven whilst cleaning up the kitchen, letting it cool a bit and buttering the damned thing before you can use it....

BTW us Yanks are keen on bottled water, with little proof it isn't anything beyond what we get from our tap at home.

The things you learn on here....
Had a swatch, and it was from these films that an image was lifted from and used in a much loved album of my yoof.
Rather than giving me appreciation for Winnetou your post has instead caused me to lose appreciation for Gang of Four.
This is a gay-ass thread......which supports Spade's definition.
