Oh, also. There's this new artist Bea Miller who is only 16 but I have a feeling she'll become a drug addict and die at 27. Just remember: If it does happen, I called it 11 years before!

According to the National Enquirer, MTM has said "I'm ready, just let me die". I couldn't click on the article, because I live in Yoorup, but I read the header. Not like I believe the Enquirer anyway.

I have a feeling that Misao Okawa will be keeping her title of "Oldest Living Person" for a while, she's had it since 2013! That's the longest since Maria Capovilla, in 2004-2006. BTW, Misao's 117th birthday is on March 5th and on February 15th she is going to beat Maria Capovilla as the 5th oldest person ever.

Well, Rihanna is turning 27 in about two weeks and I think it could be her last birthday. But then again, I thought the same about Lady Gaga (who's almost 29 now, and still alive. Well, kind of) and about Kesha (who only has a few weeks until she turns 28) so I'm not good at predicting these things. What do you think?

The Cardinals Of The Roman Catholic Church
RadGuy replied to Pagad Ultimo's topic in DeathList Forum
Doctors are "running out of tricks" to cure Francis Cardinal George's cancer. http://abc7chicago.com/religion/cardinal-george-doctors-run-out-of-tricks-in-treating-his-cancer/498200/ -
He's trying to keep active, but it's evident that he is in failing health So is Zsa Zsa gabor... That reminds me Happy 98th next week ZZ ! Zsa Zsa has been confined to her bed for the past few years. So unless she's got a stack of crossword and wordsearch books by her bed, I don't know how she's keeping active. Problem is, she's blind/deaf/mute/paralyzed/almost unconscious/etc. so she can't do crosswords and wordsearch.

I have been using "Rad___" as a username since I was 10. I thought it was cool back then, but now I only use it because... IDK. So I'm recognizable on the web?

Only a couple of days left, but I still think we'll get a hit...
-
I guess I'm the only one in the 0-16 category.

The thing is Prince Phillip will probably be dead by November 2017.

In what way is the extremely rich nation of Saudi Arabia "backwards? The medical industry isn't very good there. But on the other hand, you're right, with all that oil money Abdullah could have definitely been taken care of well.

I hope Betty lives at least 10 more years. She's awesome! I wouldn't advise putting her on the DL yet, she's very healthy and active.
-
Pope Benedict XVI needs to be on for sure. Oh, and Muhammad Ali. The problem is there's a 99% chance of him dying this year.
-
Congrats. On a side note, Pat Quinn died in November, so you may want to update your list (Unless you're referring to somebody aside from the NHL coach) I'm referring to the former governor of Illinois. I guess I need to be more specific. I'll edit my list and add "Governor" before Pat Quinn and "Reverend" before Billy Graham to avoid more confusion.

Woo-hoo! Abdullah is my first hit of 2015! In fact, he's my first hit ever. I just found out about this website two months ago, so I couldn't make a list for 2014.

Sorry to hear that, my sympathies Rad. When a strong person lives so long, it sometimes seems they are invincible, all the more shocking when they go. Peace, YoungWillz. Yeah, she was very strong. Her health was amazing until a few weeks before her death. We all expected her to live to be 100+!
-
Her funeral is tomorrow. This is the first time somebody so close to me has died.

My great-grandmother, matriarch of the whole family, died yesterday. She was in the hospital for a couple of weeks because she was swollen waist-down. Her health started rapidly deteriorating in the hospital, and for the past week she had been barely able to speak, hear, see or move. It was horrifying to look at her on that hospital bed. She died eight days before her 96th birthday.

Józef Oleksy, PM of Poland (1995-1996) dead at 68. This was over a week ago, just forgot to post it. http://news24.org.uk/news/polish-postcommunist-premier-oleksy-dies-aged-68

People I Was Surprised To Find Are Still Alive
RadGuy replied to Catherine's topic in DeathList Forum
Richard L. Bare, director of Green Acres, turning 102 this year. I totally forgot about him while making my 2015 personal DL. However, he's planning to make a broadway play based on Green Acres, so maybe he's too busy to die. -
My personal opinion is that supercentenarians (110+) shouldn't be included on the DL unless they're famous for other reasons.
-
Definitely. My guess is it will be a political figure or Sam Simon.

Zsa Zsa actually gives me hope for my great-grandmother, who for a few weeks has been in the hospital in a similar state as Zsa Zsa (can barely move, see, hear, understand what is going on, etc). She is supposed to celebrate her 96th birthday on January 27th, but according to the doctors she probably won't make it that long. But if Zsa Zsa has had health problems since the beginning of the century and has survived being in such bad condition for a few months now, than my great-grandma, who has never had any major health problems before this could live for a few more years! Update 20/01: Well, never trust a Gabor sister. My great-grandmother died yesterday.

What's interesting is that out of the 8 people who starred in The Mary Tyler Moore Show (1970-1977), only one of them died - Ted Knight in 1986, aged 62 of cancer. Since then nobody has died, which is impressive considering the average age of the surviving cast members is 82.

I had a feeling that 2015 would be an amazing year for Deathlist, but after about 2 weeks we've had a lot of famous deaths, but none of them were on the Deathlist, so I'm not so sure. What do y'all think?
