Another one dropped from last year - Denny Laine picked in 2022 for M6 Toll(ed) but dropped this year, so List of the Missed @Death Impends: https://www.derbydeadpool.co.uk/deadpool2022/celebs_L.html#lained

This do you? https://www.theyucatantimes.com/2023/12/mexican-senator-dies-from-cancer-at-38/

Something more readable on Denny Laine: Obits to flow.
-
If the news of Denny Laine's demise is true (and I have no reason to doubt it) there's not many left. Kenny Lynch, Michael Parkinson and now Denny all gone since the above.
-
Denny Laine being reported dead: Of course I need something in English and awaiting the usual.
-
And good riddance.

Peter Barclay of Towie Barclay and of that Ilk, Clan Chief of Clan Barclay, death notice: https://announcements.telegraph.co.uk/marketplace/advert/barclay-notices_54630 Edit: Had a look at his peerage page and he seems to have died without issue. Clan Barclay's page doesn't seem to have been updated since 2021. So who knows where the chiefdom goes now.

But think. DI's headline could be "Noel And Void"!!! Too good to miss.

Yeah, I noticed I was a couple of points short too. But at this stage...*shrug*.

Don't get me started on Callaghan! Dead unburied, fuel crisis, rubbish piled high in snow covered streets. Inflation rising, wage suppression - almost something Sunak would be proud of these days. -

Well, he's wrong isn't he? What he could have recognised as I do was that Thatcher was a statesperson who stuck to a policy agenda despite the slings and arrows of resistance against her and stuck to a path. Everything else was shit. She didn't encourage people's natural entrepreneurism. She made the country a massively service economy rather than a manufacturing powerhouse. She made millionaires out of the City workers, the stock traders and the bankers of London, whilst making wastelands of unemployment and poverty in large swathes of the country. She made it easier for credit to run rampant and for those supplying that credit to charge huge APR rates. For those who did try the business route, she made it easier for them to go bankrupt. Her social policies were a disaster. But then, we don't need to be told all of that. Some of us lived it. It's an absolute nonsense to suggest that it was advantageous to have entrepreneurship in a country so riven with inequality. Those who had money made more of it, those who didn't could get to fuck as far as she was concerned.
