Bobby Caldwell now being reported dead: This is not the Bobby Caldwell currently picked for the DDP, so if true (and probably is given the source) is for the List of the Missed. I'll provide a link shortly. Edit: There ya go: https://www.derbydeadpool.co.uk/deadpool2022/celebs_C.html#caldweb022, dropped by all 5 teams who picked him last year.

Long story. If I don't need to, I won't work under a Tory Government. -

I believe the BBC just tried to gaslight me. They had some dame on talking about the lack of people to fill vacancies, explaining that many people left the workplace during COVID and decided not to return. Various reasons including the lack of stacking a pension pot were mentioned. Loads of people were made REDUNDANT during lockdown. Many of the jobs available now are those jobs which had been done by EU people who have deserted the country after Brexit. The jobs are either low paid or no hours contract on the one hand, or too skilled that only folk with those skills can do them. Many businesses are struggling with inflation and high energy bills and many face closure anyway (a real incentive to get back to work if you could be out of a job in moments). Many businesses have closed already. Imagine all those folk voluntarily tripping off to the golf course or sitting on their arses watching Bargain Hunt and Countdown. Then you'll realise yet again we are being told lies. No industrial strategy (promised by Theresa May!!!), no way forward, short-termism and failure to properly handle the economy have got us here. Jesus. -

We agree. A lot, not all. Plenty of Bishops and Archbishops sit on the benches of the Lords, and not a damn one anyone could describe as a politician. And the remaining heredities. And the Law Lords. And any old fucker who was friendly with the Government and opposition of the day. Masham falls into the last category as does any old TV personality, farmer or businessperson. For which perhaps they are rightly or wrongly famous. In that regard, in having the Lords we are no better than China. Time to gut it.
-
Nope. Not if they didn't even sit on a Parish Council. You can be a Parliamentarian without being a politician. But I'll leave this, obviously lazy posting comes easy to those who think a Lords position automatically qualifies them to be a politician. I've sat on my arse for longer than some MPs sat in the Commons, but I'm no politician.

Reports indicate Fosbury died from a recurrence of lymphoma mentioned by @DevonDeathTrip back in 2008. I may just steal one of your entire teams for this year for my main team next year @Gooseberry Crumble!!! That's three drops within three months and there's ages to go yet!
-
If true, Dick Fosbury would be another List of the Missed for @Gooseberry Crumble from last year, this time not in the mixing bowl for an Apricot Crumble @Death Impends: https://www.derbydeadpool.co.uk/deadpool2022/celebs_F.html#fosburd022

I think it might be too late for that.

I also note in passing she is immediately above Kenzaburo Oe on the list who just died so that should be nice and easy for the updates!
