Twitter has various reports that Lee Whitlock has died aged 54. Played the son of Harvey Moon in Shine On Harvey Moon, roles in Eastenders, Grange Hill, Casualty and The Bill. Would be a tragedy if true. Looking for confirmation.

Maybe someone with access to that article might want to do a list of folk entitled to do the honours - give us an indication of ages and families.

I remember all the kids at my school absolutely dissing ABBA as the worst music ever. Then you'd turn up at their house, and there'd be a sneaky copy of Arrival in among the rest of their albums.

Political Discussions And Ranting Thread
YoungWillz replied to Deathray's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Watching the BBC coverage. They are all over the place with their reporting ("Labour have a handful of Scottish MPs"...whit?). So nothing leaked prior to the announcement of the announcement. Long term leaders really aren't the norm - sure, Thatcher and Blair were exceptions, rather than the rule. She's seen off several leaders of the UK, as well as opposition parties in Scotland. And in the most difficult of political times. Time's up, as with every leader, going on her own terms rather than being forced out by elections or party coups. Move on.
