I'm only going to say out loud what I've been thinking for a while. There's been an explosion of running threads - someone dies and the whole damn thing starts again. Now, I'm not being a killjoy, not am I advocating they stop or anything like that. That's up to you guys. Just pointing out however that when folk like me are searching for an appropriate thread to post an actual death, we are having to wade through hundreds of posts on deadpool games. I'm familiar with the Forum, but for those who are not, that can be tiresome. Also, I personally like to seek out a prior post about a deceased to credit someone who earlier posted about them. It's out of hand imo. Fixed term pools are more challenging, they don't rely on deathbed/hospice notifications, etc etc. Of course, carry on with these "easier" games if you wish, just appreciate how frustrating this is becoming for other Forum users. Carry on.

So prosecuting counsel at the Bamber trial Anthony Arlidge Times Obit: https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/anthony-arlidge-kc-obituary-sfwcxrdvn He's got an IMDB as himself in a couple of things (still quoted there as a QC, when he was a KC): https://www.imdb.com/name/nm5154722/ Apparently Arlidge thought Bamber the embodiment of evil. Bamber is still locked up. Meantime, in passing, Arlidge ditched his then partner (not his wife) in 2012 when he was 75 for a would be barrister aged 27: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2184723/RICHARD-KAY-DJ-Caroline-Feradays-brief-encounter.html while still married to his wife, having already spent time with another woman. Mortimer seems to have issues every 9 months. Scattered posts across this thread, Hospitalised, etc. He'd certainly seem to be good value for a natter now and then until...well, let's not talk about that, he's hilarious.

I think Sir C threatened do this aeons ago. IIRC, DDT or DI (perhaps?) suggested providing a list in DM to the mods and they'd think about it.

I'm going to say that perhaps old Bob Mortimer deserves his own thread. Triple bypass a few years ago, hospitalised last year, now disclosing a flare up of an autoimmune disease: https://www.express.co.uk/celebrity-news/1732747/Bob-Mortimer-autoimmune-disease-flare-up-rheumatoid-arthritis-interview-news-latest While he might be a distance off dying or not, he's certainly getting a lot of medical issues piling up.

Lance Macklin's son Paddy Macklin, well known sailor, Telegraph Obituary: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/obituaries/2023/02/10/paddy-macklin-bibulous-free-spirit-who-sailed-round-world-solo/ As previously noted, Lance himself died in 2002, so a wee death tag on this thread might be in order.

Experts called upon - how's Jon Voight looking? https://www.express.co.uk/celebrity-news/1733017/angelina-jolie-dad-jon-voight-rare-appearance-errands-age-hollywood-2023-pictures Made me laugh that they think Voight is only really famous for being Angelina Jolie's dad! I'd say it's the other way around, but that's deffo an age thing.
