Shite. I saw that it had been posted or updated 8 hours ago, didn't check the date on The Wrap story. Apologies. She'll turn her toes up next year, knowing my ability to spot potential cadavers.

Shelley Duvall has a GoFundMe page to help her: https://www.thewrap.com/shelley-duvall-fundraising-campaign-launched-stanley-kubrick-daughter/ Apparently a Dr Phil appearance has caused concern. Probably certifiable now.

Simple. Lager drip.

With Georgia Holt and Beryl Grey added to confirmed obits, the tally is getting closer. All while @gcreptile is away!!! I remain astonished that Louise Tobin has nothing.

Updated the above post for the death of Beryl Grey.

Well, tbh, pretty low quality all round. England haven't faced any quality opposition in the tourney until today. And they were relying on penalties, not poaching or play. They need more Fodens and Sakas and less McGuires and Kanes.

France throwing their dirties in the box. Candy Kane skies it over the bar. Joyeux Noel. Dunno what the hell I'm watching, ha....

UK Northern Soul favourite J J Barnes being reported dead by Ian Levine: Nothing chartwise in the UK, but did hit the US Billboard R & B chart in 1967 with Baby Please Come Back Home:

Tracy Hitchings, former lead singer with the bands Quasar and Landmarq, reportedly dead aged 60: https://www.loudersound.com/news/former-landmarq-singer-tracey-hitchings-dead-at-60 Wiki seems to have the wrong date and place of birth. Hitchings seemed to have historically suffered from breast and ovarian cancer.

So Morocco looked across the Med/Atlantic at Spain and Portugal and said "We'll have those boys"!!!! So, France 7, England 5 for a surprise?

Tony Hill, guitarist and vocalist who formed the band High Tide with Simon House who went on to Hawkwind, reportedly dead: -
Sometimes. I know I got a hit with Sol Kerzner, founder of Sun City a while back.

Quite a few big red book fallers, but plenty of ideas for 2023 if you want them.
-
Barry Cryer and Ruth Madoc the only fallers from the above list to date I reckon.
-
I checked her IMDB. Wow! Blake's 7, All Creatures..., Blue Peter, the list is enormous.
-
Helen Slayton-Hughes even got a Mail obit so that's another one.
-
Ruth Madoc is a DDP pick for this year. The daily hits keep coming... More survivors of It Ain't Half Hot Mum than Hi-De-Hi by my reckoning.
-
I think Stuart McGugan of It Ain't Half Hot Mum ended up on Benidorm. I noticed he seems to have stopped tweeting for quite a while. He's going to be one I think who might surprise everyone when he goes.

It's well known that certain names get posted on here just before they die. There's a lotta shite names on that Ferry Aid single. So I'll throw out Linda Lusardi and see if she lives to 2023!

Just couldn't put it in the sitcom thread. Anyhow, huge shock - besties with Su Pollard who will no doubt take this badly. Very sad news.

Interesting one this, especially for those of us around at the time. Death Notice for former Detective Chief Inspector Brian Woollard of the Metropolitan Police, aged 88: http://announcements.telegraph.co.uk/deaths/261148/woollard Effectively, in the mid-1980s, he was uniformed after discovering possible corruption between the police and the local authority in Islington involving their common freemasonry. He found he had no means of redress, he claimed, because senior officers who could have taken the investigation further were also freemasons. Articles reproduced here https://spotlightonabuse.wordpress.com/2014/01/04/police-action-urged-over-mason-network-30-03-84/ and here https://spotlightonabuse.wordpress.com/2014/12/06/power-of-the-masons-myth-or-a-menace-13-07-86/. The late Austin Mitchell presented a petition of behalf of the aggrieved officer to Parliament: https://api.parliament.uk/historic-hansard/commons/1985/dec/20/chief-inspector-brian-woollard but it wasn't until 10 years later the Home Affairs Select Committee decided to look into the matter of conflict between officers' duty and their membership of the Freemasons, which to some extent overlapped with the then Nolan Inquiry. The matter was discussed on the Channel 4 show "After Dark", but the freemason reps pulled out of that at the last minute. While Mr Woollard never seems to have had a Wiki page, this was a huge controversy at the time, and no doubt he will get I assume a Times Obit.

Just don't ask how I discovered this while researching the current health of Paul Simon. Anyhow, Travis Barker seems so fine he's launched a new jewellery collection and displayed himself off in some photos, shirtless: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-11519195/Travis-Barker-flashes-tattooed-torso-unveils-new-Clocks-Colours-jewelry-collaboration.html Not one for 2023 imo.
