Think I saw somewhere that Slade make half a million pounds in royalties every year from their Christmas song. Wonder if Ladbaby can afford to heat their house this year, never mind heat up a sausage roll, as they gave away all their royalties to charity.

Didn't Brazil get to keep it after their third win?

If this was a hint to me for my TOTP theme team (which is wasn't) no Aerosmith in the UK Top 30 singles in 1987. Not even in the backing group for Ferry Aid (I mean, Su Pollard and Ruth Madoc made it in there...).

It's the middle of the bloody night here! FFS. She will always be Rebecca in Cheers to me. And Kirstie Alley is a DDP Pick, so we'll need one of these: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-63868992

Recent interview with yer man himself here: https://www.radiotimes.com/tv/drama/david-mccallum-interview/ Interesting that he was sick after eating health food with health food nut Robert Vaughn (deceased) and also he has 2 shows left on his NCIS contract, which he will fulfil if he is able to travel. But anything can happen when you are 90+. I won't be picking him anyway, a hero of mine.

Think Delgado also died this year?, which leaves Roscoe Orman from the 2016 cast axed. Though he is much younger. -

Wasn't anything there when I reported, but interesting...very interesting. Bet they stole it from me on here. @Bibliogryphon better watch out he's not picked for the forthcoming Scavvy Hunt.

So, was anyone going to tell me about the Beeb axing the Top Of The Pops Christmas special? https://www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/bbc-axes-iconic-top-pops-28644001 Only way I really kept up with the current...I'm going to say tunes, but... what passes for music these days. They are replacing it with a review. Well, why don't I just turn my radio on, or switch to MTV for the video? Christ (I call upon him in anticipation of the celebration of his birth), they've brought back Blankety Blank, and put loads of celebrities on a fucking wheel. Sad to see it go.

John Lennon, Princess Diana.... Day or night, too big and too famous for it not to be announced almost immediately, imo. I'd assume there are already gatherings for vigils...

Did I just hear Jurgen Klinsman wish for Pele to get better? After being told he's in palliative care? Well, I'm hoping Bernard Cribbins makes a miraculous recovery, but that ain't going to happen either....
