Jane Fonda - Controversial Princess of a Hollywood Dynasty
YoungWillz replied to Gooseberry Crumble's topic in DeathList Forum
Regrets her cosmetic surgery, glories in still having "strong thighs": https://www.dailymail.co.uk/galleries/article-11077733/Jane-Fonda-opens-face-lift-admitting-not-proud.html -
Was to be the Republican candidate for the upcoming mid-terms. Also voted to overturn the 2020 election of Biden. Of course, she's no Marjorie Taylor Greene who really should be getting out and about on the Interstate more. Or swimming with sharks...

Now she knows how it feels for a woman not to be in control of her own body... Oops. Too soon?

Worth you making a Wiki page for him?

If a Pope and an Antipope shake hands, will there be a massive explosion resulting the deaths of everyone on Earth?

Death Notice for John Christopher Loder, 3rd Baron Wakehurst, aged 96: http://announcements.telegraph.co.uk/deaths/258702/wakehurst Heir apparent is Timothy Walter Loder (b. 1958). Wiki (mention): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baron_Wakehurst Seemingly unremarkable compared with the 1st and 2nd Barons.

Tbh nobody should be getting points for anyone who’s already dead before the start. Whether that’s 24 hours or 24 months. I say that as a no hoper of winning anyway, not to better my chances, but as a matter of common sense. Otherwise it’s not a dead pool, it’s an already dead dead pool.

Still there remains the 8 billion she was going to save by paying Northerners less. Where is it coming from to fund her plans? Loved her statement about concentrating on what the Tories are doing for the devolved administrations. She has just spent the past fortnight telling us all what they have done for the past 12 years is utter shite - got to agree with that, so we are supposed to be grateful for high taxes, high energy bills, low interest rates, austerity max? I know what switch she has got on her light bulb ideas - dimmer!

Another who contributed to the campaign, John Yogi Hughes, reportedly dead: https://www.celticquicknews.co.uk/lisbon-lion-john-yogi-hughes-dies-at-79/ https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Hughes_(footballer,_born_1943)

Jesus, I went to the wrong Claridges...

"Dear Penny, Thanks for your support. Obviously you are as much use as a chocolate fireguard, so I look forward to your full throated support from the backbenches. Yours, Liz" "Dear Liz, I fully support your campaign, as I will still be young enough to compete in the next leadership campaign, which shouldn't be long. I wouldn't have thought someone full of Kwasi's Chocolate Cream (the Whole Nut) would be making confectionery analogies. Quite clearly you are a Lyin' Bra, akin to a Double Decker with no passengers on the top deck. In a room with only two Tories in it, you will always not be the Blue Smartie. Nevertheless, Yule Log a lot more votes than the other guy. I look forward to your statement on the steps of Number 10, it's bound to be a Magnum Opus. Yours, Penny (Mouse)"

Guardian obit for Michael Deakin, heavily involved with this show but also famed for Frost’s interview with the Shah of Iran and others: https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2022/aug/01/michael-deakin-obituary

I'll assume it's not a hoax. Or, ironically, a miscommunication... RIP.
-
Nichelle Nicholls might not finish this game, but she's a third hit for me here.
-
Wait. Truss turned the opportunity to be interviewed by Neil down. International coward - if she can't face a few questions, how can she face down the despots of the world? She knows she'd be ripped to shreds.
-
Andrew Neil dismantling Sunak for the past half hour has been a joy. Can't wait for him to tear into Truss.
-
Oh dear, how sad, never mind...

Bernard Cribbins' death should be noted here.
-
Bernard Cribbins is a hit for me here. YW - 4; DL - 4. You know it's going badly for the Committee when I'm allowed to catch up!
-
Ok then! Bernard Cribbins a hit for me here! Give me points or not!
-
And as if by magic, Bernard Cribbins takes me to 4 hits. *floss dances through the tears*
-
Bernard Cribbins a hit for me here.
-
Bernard Cribbins died and is mid-placed for me in this game. Off the zero and scoring at least.
-
Let's get started here on my claims for Cribbins. He's my fourth hit on my Comedy Cremations theme team. I have no hits anywhere else on my other teams (!!!), but that means even across my three teams I now have more hits than I got across all teams in 2021. Crazy.
