Sorry for being a pillock, I've been out all day with my pal (you'd better believe it) had a few sups and I got a wee bit emotional (because he's a real dead ringer for love). I'll be sober tomorrow.

I'm just going to say can we please get an update for the death of this rock n roll legend please?

William Taylor, aka Billy Taylor, GB Boxer at the 1972 Summer Olympics, reportedly dead: Also claims to have been the "Tango Man" in those adverts, however he must have been in later ones as Peter Geeves is best known for that: https://www.starnow.co.uk/billytango1/

At last, a rhyme for my epic poem about Jacques Cousteau!

I see there's going to be a play about his life: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-derbyshire-60087393 Good news: Gareth Williams of the Flying Pickets is still alive.

It's the people who didn't live to see Thatcher dead I feel sorry for. My poor old mum died a month before her.

Team sent because I have nothing better to do.

The return of the YW "Mon The Jags" team has been submitted to Spade, thanks for running and good luck in Round Two to @Pop_Zeus by whom I presume I will be soundly thrashed within an inch of my life.

Long term former keeper for Bristol Rovers Howard Radford being reported dead aged 91: Surprised he isn't mentioned on the Oldest Living Footballers thread, maybe Bristol have a longer survivor @Octopus of Odstock?

Hmm, Gimme The Future With A Moderna Girl I thought.

It's my fault really, I didn't understand the "I've got a hit, quick scan of the news, they're going to die in a day, pop them on, surprise surprise they're dead too, rewind and start again" nature of the game. If I had, I would never have entered. It's not a level playing field for casual and devoted deadpoolers, it's for the vultures - no offence to anyone, fair play to them - I thought it was a monthly pool, not an hourly one. Which repulses me actually.
-
In my head, I thought replacements would happen at the end of each month, rather than straight away. So plucking people from their deathbed on a daily basis is just too much for my delicate sensibilities, ha ha.

Didn't realise how opportunistic this game was. I knew I'd be shite, but really ridiculous now. Accordingly, I withdraw from this game. Sorry.

Thanks for the info.

Well, @machotrouts Russell Bishop has died. I didn't pick him but maybe some did, and I don't think we have reached the official start date yet. What's the ruling? Maybe DI can advise what the rules were?

I've updated the Rocky Horror list on page 2 of the thread for Meat Loaf's death. I've assumed he died in California, but if anyone knows the place of death....
-
Just missed the top 30 in 1986 with Rock N Roll Mercenaries and wouldn't hit the top 30 again until 1993. Not a miss for my TOTP team, but having picked both Meat Loaf and Jim Steinman 2 years ago and for them both to be dead...wow. By the way @gcreptile, I know you will still be working on them but the subheading in my Hits of 36 Years Ago team should refer to those who had a hit in 1986. Cheers.

Well, I couldn't resist. Death notice for Lady Ann Lavinia Maud Montagu-Stuart-Wortley-Mackenzie, daughter of the 3rd Earl of Wharncliffe, aged 102: http://announcements.telegraph.co.uk/deaths/254838/bowlby

Just read it. Pett had a bit part in Out Of The Clouds it says and his IMDB really has only that and one other entry (unless there is another separate entry for his documentary work). So I wondered if he was the last survivor of that movie, only to find (yeah start at the bottom and work up I say) that there are several non-dead actors who must be dead - George Spence played a man in a film of 1932 for example! So if someone had some time to look into the "non-dead" participants....

Wondered why I was getting so many likes.
