Incredible, isn't it? Disused for nearly 9 years - believe me, I know how that feels!

You know, if you look hard enough, there is a thread for most things, so cross-posting Peter Rossdale's Obituary here.

Ha!! I've seen flimsier - wasn't there some French bod, maybe a Spade pick, who got a QO by dint of a picture post on the BBC website and a caption? Hey, it's up to the Committee to decide what's in the rules and up to players to raise the spectre of picking such bods and their acceptability prior to the game starting. And we live with that. I'd rather have no hits personally than pick such a person - and I had picked Phelan years ago as a FFBI pick! My criteria changed after most of my sick and dying team decided to live.

Sepulveda - mentioned here that right to die was granted and she "underwent the procedure". Sounds good enough for me, even if I don't agree with her inclusion in the DDP personally: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10386757/Colombian-man-one-people-end-life-new-euthanasia-policy.html

Betty Driver Memorial Soapstar Superstar Thread
YoungWillz replied to M Busby Airlines's topic in DeathList Forum
For those diehard Emmerdale fans and from the time I was watching it, here's George Little's first appearance on Emmerdale. I've been nice and started it at Part Two when he comes in, Ah, Amos Brearley et al, when soaps were soaps and not turgid fireballs of death and fury. -
George Little, who appeared in a couple of episodes of The Crusade for Doctor Who, being reported dead aged 93: https://www.britmovie.co.uk/forum/cinema/obituaries/104536-george-little-1928-2022-rip (Can't link to FB) Played the part of Hone in Fiddler On The Roof, and Reverend Edward Ruskin in Emmerdale Farm. Notable character actor, worth checking his credits on IMDB at the link above..

His accent came and went, that's true! Sometimes it was quite fierce, other times it was soft Edinburgh/Linlithgow. Hugely popular as a teacher though.
-
Nicholas Donnelly was one of the major characters in the show, pretty sure he played it with a fairly convincing Scottish accent! Played long running character Sgt Johnny Wills in Dixon Of Dock Green and a recruit in Carry On Sergeant. RIP.

This guy is a huge Neighbours bod on the Twittercurrent account, and he says that Miranda Fryer, the child actress (infant actually) who was Sky Mangel/Bishop in 130 episodes of Neighbours, has died:
-
Twitterers are reporting him dead. Likely he is as an unlikely target for a hoax. Highest position was Indiana Wants Me, which reached #2 in June 1971 (Ghost In My House reached #3):

Paul Coia is Scottish all right - from the famous Coia ice cream family (of Italian extraction). One of my partners on Win Lose Or Draw.

So they are making a movie, with an opportunity for some cameo appearances: https://www.itv.com/news/2022-01-07/grange-hill-to-return-to-our-screens-but-not-as-you-know-it Can't see it working on the big screen - the cloying claustrophobic atmosphere and the relationships just can't be replicated I think.

I always listen to my own advice re my DDP teams. Sadly, I'm an unreliable informant.

Robert Hughes, Baron Hughes of Woodside, former Labour MP for Aberdeen North and anti-devolutionist voter that essentially among other reasons led to the no confidence vote in the Callaghan government, reportedly dead at 90:

Bill Bryden biggest this side of the pond, same reason. You eirther know or don't. Peter Bogdanovich picked in last year's DDP, probably again this year. If so you will be needing this: https://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-news/breaking-peter-bogdanovich-dead-sopranos-25875915
