Obit mentions Phyllis now goes by the name Sirico, and something on Facebook on Google Search seems to indicate that Peggy Santiglia now goes by the name Ricker, though she does have her own Wiki Page under Santiglia. I'm only bothering because it might help searches later, I believe this info is up on the Angels Wiki page anyhow.

Gained quite enough attention by having his own thread already....

I think it's easily one she's never going to QO....

Serial comet discoverer and DDP Pick Carolyn Shoemaker being reported dead on the Twitterjibberjabber: Awaiting the usual.... Edit: Might be a mix up on the part of the posters as Carolyn's sister in law seems to have a recent obituary....gawd knows, not beyond the realms that they died in quick succession....bloody birdsong...

Dilys Watling was in a lot of comedy shows too, reliably appearing with everyone from Reg Varney, Terry Scott, Frankie Howerd to Dick Emery and The Two Ronnies. She was also the half-sister of Deborah Watling, our lovely Victoria Waterfield from Doctor Who, who died a few years ago. Absolutely deserves a QO, who knows? RIP. -
Oft misheard on the Adam And The Ants Track Ant Rap as: Marco! Merrick! Mary Lee! Gary Tibbs and Yours Truly!

Conflicting evidence on the reported death of Judd Proctor (apparently born Judd Procter). Bald statement on mudcat that he died in April 2021 here: https://mudcat.org/thread.cfm?threadid=166334,166334 More illuminating here, gives a different date of birth and a death date in August 2020: https://en.everybodywiki.com/Judd_Proctor IMDB: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm1811147/ Edit: And indeed if we check the Probate Service, Judd Procter dead 21 August 2020: https://probatesearch.service.gov.uk/Wills?Surname=procter&SurnameGrants=procter&YearOfDeath=2020&YearOfDeathGrants=2020&IsGrantSearch=True&IsCalendarSearch=False&page=3#wills

Watching an old episode of Give Us A Clue, I had no idea that Libby Morris was still with us and never seemingly mentioned on the forum before. She's going on 91. If A Talent For Loving and The Plank don't instantly get her a UK obit never mind her seemingly endless panel game shows, she might be a cracking choice for the Hartlepool DP (Celebrity Squares). IMDB: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0606736/

Death Notice for Mike Peters (aka Mike Best), bass guitarist with The John Barry Seven , who has died aged 84: http://announcements.telegraph.co.uk/deaths/251429/peters Difficult to tell how many of their hit records he played on, but if IMDB is correct, all of them. He's certainly on their first charting hit as he's up on the podium at the back, bass guitaring away on Hit Or Miss, the theme to Juke Box Jury (I've seen pictures on Google Books which confirm it's him): Yeah, not The Alarm Mike Peters either, before the smart aleck remarks come...

And only me it seems, what with the number of no mark Swedish journalists and Indian and African dignitaries whose deaths and illnesses we are supposed to care about. I gave up a long time ago on how this Forum does and doesn't work, and I'm happy that other folk find solace in posting whatever they like wherever they like. As I waded through this morning's collection of nobodies, hey at least they were dead so that's fine. I don't feel the need to be the Forum police. I tried a few years ago to happily trot through my youth and the programmes that I tried to enjoy, as the only escape from a traumatic and worthless childhood. It sometimes comes as a bit of a shock to find a lot of them dead, as the lack of reporting back in the day means they were missed. There is always light though as illuminated by msc's post above. I don't find joy in illness or death (except for those who have done wrong I guess), rather the opposite. I'm preparing for a friend's funeral tomorrow. Pardon me for being a little tetchy. -

Common humanity, a sense of fun and pleasure obviously...but trolling is still alive and well I see. Also a reminder that afaik Brian Trueman is still going and an eminently obitable pick. -

Jamie And The Magic Torch trending on Twitter. Was he ever tired during the day? If you don't know the theme tune, I highly recommend a listen: I'm trying to remember another theme with a magic piano key, but it's eluding me at the moment. -
It's a thriller and all laid out in black and white. Patricia Hitchcock leaves a shower curtain a-fluttering. Picked as a sub by Caleb H, draws the K Clubs for 13 Points added. Caleb H accordingly moves up a spot. Leaderboard updated, no bonuses obviously.

Probably already know, but this link will take you to a QO for Alex Cord: https://uk.news.yahoo.com/alex-cord-archangel-military-drama-165946587.html Edit: And the Mail: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-9881513/Airwolf-actor-Alex-Cord-died-88-home-Texas-career-spanning-five-decades.html

I'm on PC using Google Chrome. I've had another look...sometimes if I enlarge the zoom the date appears, sometimes if I reduce the zoom, it's there, but on 90% mostly not showing. I checked the one I was looking at with no date....and the bloody date has appeared on 110% zoom. At least I know where I'm looking for it now, thanks!
-
Right, I may be missing something, I just don't know (a la Mavis Wilton). I'm not a member of YouTube and never want to be. But at some point they've stopped showing the date when the video was uploaded...or have they? I know you can probably go round the houses, but I like to drop by things that catch my eye. So I click on a vid and I'm watching and think, is this new? Then I try and see when it was uploaded and...nothing. I'm obviously going wrong somewhere...or am I?

I suppose we had better mention the death of Candy Davis aka Clare Dunkel aka Mo Hayder aged 59 here: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-9876123/Britains-glamorous-crime-writer-Clare-Dunkel-dies.html There's a very messy edit on Wiki and IMDB doesn't know she's dead at all: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0204306/

Not a Scavenger Hunt pick afaik.
