Charles Connor - American drummer with Little Richard and James Brown et al. Thea White - voice actress for Muriel Bagge in Courage The Cowardly Dog and former wife of sometime drummer involved with the Beatles, Andy White. Rather more Twitter chatter about Thea White, but chatter - no real reliable sources. -

It's been a month already! It's gone faster than Dina Asher-Smith, like most of the girls who competed against her. At least we made the final! Anyhow, here is the monthly Card Roulette Draw: Timestamp: 2021-07-31 11:44:48 UTC Means everyone will now be on the Leaderboard, which shall be updated shortly.

Look, for years it's been about relationships - like Press Gang without the charm. Tate - Tennant was probably the golden era of the present run. Precisely because they emphasised the story over the relationship like of old, whereas almost every other assistant wanted to bang the Doctor (and if they didn't - Rory - they kept punishing by killing him!)? Get a room in a fanfiction forum, say I! And @msc as you well know, I go waaay back to the start of the Pertwee era!

Unsaveable. Too much soap opera, not enough science, now John Bishop?
-
Been a while, hasn't it? I'm not aware at the point of writing of any further deaths. As we will all be congregating for a Zoom call for the Card Roulette draw tomorrow, just a reminder that you might want to let me know of anybody who has reached their use by date!

Gawd knows why I picked this thread, but Native American actor and singer Saginaw Grant has reportedly died aged 85: https://nativenewsonline.net/currents/american-indian-actor-saginaw-grant-85-passes-away Various appearances on TV and film, however, British interest as he appeared as a medicine man in episodes of Auf Wiedersehen, Pet in a later (let's call it less than good) series when they located to America. IMDB: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0335636/ Edit: I'll point for the benefit of @gcreptile that he's a DDP Pick.

@msc Hey if I'm goin to be an also-ran, might as well be a stylish also-ran. Unfortunately, I think that was true last year, but unless people start falling off the perch, it won't even be stylish!

Well Dusty Hill did appear in BTTF III, so there's that for this thread now he is dead. In passing, Hill is also a miss for my 1985 TOTP Theme Team this year, having hit #16 with Legs that year. Bloody typical, been meaning to pick him out but with the ZZ Top theme teams always given them a bye.

It's the lederhosen isn't it? (I have a thing for that too, but poor Maria Mathis, she gave her heart and soul to that song!).
-
Just trotting through 1989 for my research for my theme team - yeah, waaay ahead of the game. Anyway, just for example, this reached #5 in the UK charts - jaunty, but wtf?!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sHKuvWh4Dm8
