Former Attorney General of the US, Dick Thornburgh dead: https://www.inquirer.com/news/dick-thornburgh-dies-pennsylvania-governor-attorney-general-20201231.html Would that be ANOTHER DDP pick?
-
Next year it would have, not a DDP Qobit for this year though.
-
Make of this what you will, but there's a report here that the last surviving member of the Dave Brubeck Quartet, Eugene Wright, has plucked his last bass string: One for the Singles Thread too @Ulitzer95 if it turns out to be reported true. DDP pick anaw.

Unusual not to have Toby's In Memoriam video for Doctor Who for 2020 up so far? I always enjoy a tear forming on Hogmanay.

Oh my goodness. Ronald Atkins has only gorn and died. A hit for Miracle Aligner and Perhaps. Bonuses: Miracle Aligner: Pair 6s - 10 Additional Points. Perhaps: Straight (5, 6, 7 Spades, 8, 9) - 30 Points; Straight (5, 6, 7 Hearts, 8, 9) - 30 Points. Total - 60 Additional Points. And with that @Perhaps takes the lead. Can there be any more twists and turns in this oh so tight race? Leaderboard updated.
-
Not that I hold out much hope of this ever being scored, but Ronald Atkins was a Joker pick of mine and takes my total to 16 hits. Yay.

Sterling work to you Grim. And just to say many thanks to you, gcreptile and msc for all your hard work in 2020! I'm in awe how you put up with all of us and the tallying!

Happy New Year...! Except for @time who I presume needs a sub for 2021! Prescient? Ok, I have a feeling that 19 out of 20 of my main team for 2021 will die in 2021.
-
Picked this year (2020) another possible out for a QO.
-
Indeed. I still feel there's a "straight to BBC" obit about to be announced...had that just before Cardin's death. But they are feelings, nothing more than feelings….
-
I predict the grim reaper is going to confound sceptics and be its most powerful yet like a super strong enema in 2024 moreso than recent years equalling or even beating 2020

When the moon is in the second house, and Jupiter aligns with Mars.... -
Due to non-obits, still one short of the 275 hit rate for 2020. Colin Withers, Arnold Wolfendale and I think one other could still come through. Tantalus clutching at low hanging fruit.
-
Now I know folk will be busy with the final entries, so this is probably a muse rather than a question. I wonder how many picks have been rejected under the new non-FBBI regime? Bound to still be some submitting the usual cases without a care in the world...

The final Card Roulette Table draw! Timestamp: 2020-12-31 12:36:17 UTC
-
There's a period of grace on this pool for late obits to come through, so still plenty of time. Of course, the staff will have left, the players will be on their way back to their country estates and I shall be in the manager's office poring over the books. Meantime, it's the end of the month. so I believe a little visit to the Card Roulette Table is in order! Come along everyone!
-
There's a report here of Joey LaMotta's death: But who knows? Might fuck up the Committee picking him though...
-
Appropriately enough, their first UK hit was No More.
-
I do not recognise this description of him!
