one dead Gerry Adams & Martin McGuinness

John Hume's death brought Gerry Adams out and he's looking fine - perhaps some new dental work needed. Lord Trimble less so - for someone who's had heart trouble, maybe he's our replacement thread? -
I've said before - Brett Sinclair was his performing name and is listed as such on IMDB. Let's face it, if Cardi B is listed as such but isn't listed under her real name....'mon.

Ok I'll go there. Never, never, never....

Not me. Mine are somewhere between popular and esoteric.....

A huge loss I'll agree. Blibberwimble puts out a statement over several Twitter posts praising him. A PM of the UK - truly not fit to lick the boots of a true statesman like Hume - on a fucking Twitter thread, all the while about to drive a coach and horses through the Good Friday Agreement when he implements Brexit. Let's remember what true statespeople do in Hume's name.
-
I'm sure a few hearts went all a-Trimble on hearing of John Hume's death. A Nobel life and a pick that hopefully will mean peace will break out - yes, I'm restocking the bar with Irish Whiskey! Anyhow, hits for The Old Crem, The Quim Reaper and....Sean. The Quim Reaper picks up an additional 50 Points for hitting his Red Joker. This means that Sean takes a giant leap towards what was previously Joey's gigantic lead which has been cut back substantially. Leaderboard updated.

Debbie Russ who played Tiger in the Double Deckers is bloody well 60 today! Gawd, I'm getting on....board, on board with the Double Deckers….. -
Well, odds on Leslie Randall died a while ago - it's in the Other Lives section. Even Twitter can't give me a clue - he might get a Stage Obit, perhaps, which may gives us a date.

Obituary for Leslie Randall aged 95, one of TMIB's eternal picks on the DDP, though not picked this year, famous for being in the UK's first sitcom Joan And Leslie: https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2020/aug/02/leslie-randall-obituary IMDB: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0709633/ List of the Missed for @msc: http://www.derbydeadpool.co.uk/deadpool2014/celebs_R.html#randal

Like maybe here also?

The possibilities for puns are endless! Anyhow, all are capable of crimes against humanity - apart from Jezza Hunt (who isn't capable of anything) and Tobias Ellwood (who actually seems a thoroughly decent chap - watch that come back to bite me!).

The Thing is Sean is proving himself a Natural at this game. Wilford Brimley has gone and is a unique hit. Also hits a pair of 8s for 10 Additional Points. Sean now finds himself Cocooned in second place. Leaderboard updated.
-
I go back as far as The Waltons in my memory of him and also the Cocoon movies. Far as I'm concerned he's a bit of a loss here. I know nothing of anything else about him, but a distinctive face and voice and that's all you can ask for as a character actor. RIP.

It's an open and shut and open case!

Never mind, perils of ignore. -
The whole "sailing away" thing gave Thatcher many nightmares! Twas but a blip however, you have to give credit to the great British public who ignored soaring unemployment and poverty, a North/South divide you could have driven Monaco though, riots in Brixton and Toxteth, police battoning the pickets and then Ponting exposing incompetence during the conflict and gave Thatcher an '83 election victory. An admirable sign of devotion to the flag and war over everything else. Mind you - Michael Foot? At least she didn't give Ponting the Dr David Kelly treatment. We'll give her that.
