So we are expected to forget Voter ID? Reduction in the number of seats in Scotland and Wales? It is bollocks - rather like Gove's features. He's not even standing and he's being shipped out as a saviour of the party.
-
And now some music while we all run about like headless chickens.

There's heavy reliance by the Indy on Burke's tweet though. It's all very annoying, in that kind of bee buzzing around your earhole way. Thanks for having a look on FB, if it is the British actor then we are set. All he had to do was call himself Stevie Sweeney or another variation, then we wouldn't have had this doubt!
-
Yeah, I'm all confused about this. There have been reports that the American comedian Steve Sweeney has died and also the British actor by the same name. I was going to ask if anyone had anything from FB or other sources to confirm which of these had in fact died. I gave up checking late last night.

The Shanks, Shanksy, Shanksy Boy, Shanksdabidozie - yeah the guy who won the by-election here for Labour has sent me his literature, but nobody else so far, though I still say it's early for that nonsense. I was going to email him to see if Labour would be repealing the Voter ID rules, but as I was about to do so, Starmer came on the tellybox saying they were going to review the rules. (Fucking wishy washy response in my view, just do it). Also, I have noted that the Labour manifesto doesn't contain any pledge to assassinate Norman Tebbit. (But if Sunak is right as on tax pledges, not ruling it out means that's precisely what they will do!).

He's well known for being on holiday when crucial things are happening to the country. And when he's not holidaying, he's partying. And when he's not holidaying or partying, he's happy to see his citizens die. Yeah, super choice for the Tory future.

He's on holiday during the election: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/boris-johnson-holiday-tory-election-campaign-b2565198.html On holiday? This guy? Colour me unsurprised.

I was interested in Sunak's "buy British" food message yesterday, for which he has been rightly lambasted. So Sunak's messages so far seem to be: Don't like foreign food. Don't like foreign courts. Don't like foreign events (just the British parts). Don't like foreign asylum seekers. Don't like Scotland at the Euros (Unionist who only supports England). I'll tell you what he does like though. 680,000 foreigners net coming here through legal migration in the past year.

The troubled seat of Aberdeenshire North and Moray loses its Labour candidate for pro-Russia posts: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/wires/pa/article-13545895/Reeves-pleased-Labour-candidate-suspended-pro-Russia-posts.html Andy Brown will now stand as an independent. Probably of little matter as it is a straight fight between the Tories and SNP.

Cedric A Napoleon, bassist and songwriter notable for his formation and membership of US soul/jazz fusion band Pieces Of A Dream, reportedly dead: https://www.soultracks.com/story-cedric-napoleon-dies I cannot tie him to the mid/late eighties UK chart entries (they peaked at #84 in 1988), but they were better known Stateside. Here he is lead singing on Fo Fi Fo from 1983:

According to the Conservatives, Labour have not denied that Chomsky is dead. Rumours abound that David Irving strangled Chomsky in his sleep. There. Have some more unedifying post whoring.
-
Where did they hear it from? Gawd, reliability of sources is required. And even they get it wrong or jump the gun. Consider this waste of time for me ended.
-
You know, I often mused that we would hear of Chomsky's death from a Kurd, rather from his family, his peers, or indeed the press. No family statement, no dead in this case. Until told otherwise of course. (This follows tikkety tok reports of the deaths of Bruce Willis and Ozzy Osbourne in recent days).
