Boysie Grant. Lord knows I have tried! The only thing is I'm pretty sure he's older than born in 1945. The sources I have seen indicate he's definitely from Kingston, Jamaica. He vocalises on a couple of calypso numbers including Linstead Market for Reynolds Calypso Clippers - now that was issued in 1955, making him 9 or 10 on that record! I just doubt it, even looking at the 1960s pictures he looks in his late 20s/early 30s. https://www.discogs.com/Reynolds-Calypso-Clippers-Linstead-Market-Solus-Market/release/5561316 Edit: Boysie will most likely be a nickname - without a real name.....

The Rockin' Berries. Can't be of much more help with Bobby Thomson, especially as in various places he's called "Thompson"! Definitely born in Liverpool, played with The Dominoes before they went King Size, briefly in Rory Storm And The Hurricanes and with Cliff Bennett and the Rebel Rousers. Now coincidentally, his linkedin page (indicating currently in Dudley) claims he recorded on One Way Love for the Rebel Rousers so you'll have to add him in to the listing for that band! https://uk.linkedin.com/in/bobby-thomson-0953ba42

The Royal Guardsmen. Interesting history here: https://www.crazedfanboy.com/spotlight/guardsmen.html Which includes this picture: Which should probably give an approximate year of birth for Burdett if you have everyone else's - this does seem to relate to a reunion sometime around 1977/78, so possibly year of birth 1949/50? When Burdett quit in 1968, he seems to have moved to Bucks County, Pennsylvania according to the article. The official site for the band which is stated in the article to be maintained by Burdett no longer exists, which could be a worrying sign? This article suggests Burdett might have been originally from Minnesota: https://www.tampabay.com/things-to-do/music/Royal-Guardsmen-return-Snoopy-in-tow-50-years-after-Florida-s-first-pop-hit_167682029/ and this linkedin profile suggests he is in Saginaw, Michigan: https://www.linkedin.com/in/john-burdett-a9896a20 Apologies if you've looked at all of these.

Listen to the joke PM. It's mostly all I hear when he is talking. Blibber blibber ...sacrifice...wimble wimble...conflict....blibber wimble...(more shite follows)!

Unsurprisingly praised by Blibberwinkle. See above. I mean have you seen this guy's house? He should have sold it, downsized and given an extra £2m to the NHS. Blibberwimble mentioned something about now being the moment of maximum risk. Naw, you clown, the moment of maximum risk was when 1000 people a day were dying in Italy, and instead of using your eyes and ears, you said you were following the science.

Oh Biblio, terrible news. Thoughts with your folks and many condolences. This virus has robbed me of someone I know, although elderly and suffering from advanced dementia, so she'd probably have gone this year anyway.

Tony Sheveton. Interesting. His Facebook page indicates currently resident in Hengoed, Glamorgan and that he was in Class of '56 at Cantonian High School, Fairweather, Cardiff. Assuming he left school anywhere between 14 and 16, this puts his birthdate back to anywhere between 1939 and 1942. There is another FB page with similar pictures to his page which calls him Tony Cheverton, so maybe his pre-fame/post fame name? Still seems to be knocking about. I'm not on FB, so I cannot check further.

Faulds did I, ha! Plus I knew there was a thread for her. Out of the blue, she was doing the BBC Papers reviews regularly up until recently. Maybe that's why she wasn't picked for the DDP.

Aww, bugger it, I went and looked on Twitter for Al Verlane. His grandson appears to be this guy Jerry Ropero Verlackt: He has links to various Facebook posts on his Twitter: https://twitter.com/Jerryropero (search "Al Verlane") and he's indicated his grandfather died "over 20 years ago" in something I could read posted in 2014 - so we are talking a death in the late 1980s or early 1990s. Right, throw me another letter cos I'm done with the ones so far, ha!

Danny Peppermint And The Jumping Jacks. Never mind, misread the entry. Who were those pesky Jumping Jacks? Peppermint Lounge House Band? I know I've read about them when researching someone else on this thread! Edit: I should say, no further help on W and P.

Once he's lost the election, he'll be found sitting in the street, drinking disinfectant saying "I'm the President Of The United States!" "Give me a dollar for a diaper!"

The Pyramids. These Jamaican bands are a nightmare! Nobody gives their ages away from what I can see. However, I have managed to ascertain that Josh Roberts is dead. There was this Twitter post: Monty Neysmith confirms his death in this interview from September 2019: https://subcultz.com/2019/09/19/the-pyramids-interview-with-monty-neysmith/ Neysmith's Twitter page hasn't had any activity on it from 2019, but he is posting on Facebook as recently as March 2020. Seems to be gutted about having to cancel performances due to the pandemic. From what I can see there are slightly conflicting line-ups on the net - not surprising, par for the course on the dancehall/rocksteady scene where someone claims to have been on the record. Anyhow, I haven't seen anything contradicting the rest being alive.

Pinkerton's Assorted Colours. I see you have no info on Tom Long. I found this page: http://www.bobleroi.co.uk/ScrapBook/CallUpPinks/CallUpTheGroups_Pinks.html About half way down, you can see Tom Long's Radio City Membership card which gives his 1965 address as 68 Cromwell Road, Rugby. Now, come on, at that point he's not famous and probably hasn't made much money and going by the comparative ages of his bandmates, it is probably the family home. I'm guessing he's around 18-20 at this point. Might be a good start for your Ancestry searches. Haven't looked into the others.

The Guardian Obit for John H Conway mentions Richard Guy in passing, but does not specifically mention his death. Barring a Christmas list on a QO site, Guy's chances of Qobiting (trademarked) are little to none.
