So, I'll just cross post this here. Tim Brooke-Taylor is a radio and TV legend, and I'll miss him. RIP.

Stirling Moss takes me to 5. About right for me.
-
Yep, it's still close. YW - 6; DL- 8 Might as well be a chasm.

These are the current teams full of names you can't pick @Yvonne. Your team remains invalid, until you change it.
-
Stirling Moss is my first hit here and he's a doozy. Loadsapoints! (In the Harry Enfield stylee).
-
May the 4th be with you.
-
Sticking with Willie. It's been my life so I continue on with it.....
-
Jesus, I thought somebody had scored. Phew.

A non-rolling Moss gathers a head stone. RIP.

Didn't the guy in the next bed to him die?
-
He'll obit somewhere, unlikely in the UK press who have ignored #1 selling popsters. Only a week in the UK chart.

There's no sub-text. Too much overthinking on your part Deathers. We are all doing it at the moment. Not sure where @msc comes in. Undermining the runners? You baffle me there. Jog on.

You could read it that way I guess, it's not pedantry at all, there had already been one round of additions to the list of the dead, so I guessed Anderson's death had been missed and would be added next time. It wasn't, so I gave a gentle nudge as the next round up was due. Here's the version that you imply I made: "For fucks sakes reptile, I do fucking round ups and you can't even add the deaths and obits I put up. What is the fucking point!??? Get it right or I'll not bother. Jeez-US!!!!" That's pedantry max. There's no arguments here. It's assistance. In the nicest possible way.

Indeed they are. And some people are here to help in case people miss things, which is easy to do in the huge Byzantine nightmare that is DDP, or when people drop the games they are running after inducing many players to enter. Now call me more names.

Report of the death of Carl Dobkins Jr, more successful Stateside with My Heart Is An Open Book by the late Lee Pockriss, but hey as it turns out he had a UK#44 in April 1960 with Lucky Devil:
-
No bother, I was watching to see if he was added during the next round of additions. Couple of days I'll be bringing the round up forward.

John Durnin's partner who married him shortly before his death and English theatre actress Jacqueline Dutoit, has died a mere fortnight after him back at the beginning of March: https://www.heraldscotland.com/opinion/18373939.obituary-jacqueline-dutoit-powerful-actress-graced-pitlochry-stage/ Some minor TV roles.

Not quite sure why Philip Anderson has not been added to the list of the dead on the DDP @gcreptile. He's on my round up with a Mail obit.

Goldie and the Gingerbreads. Ginger Panabianco became plain Ginger Bianco. Here is her LinkedIn Page: https://www.linkedin.com/in/ginger-bianco-115351a. Probably not of much help, info turned up says she was originally from Long Island, but if you have the other family connections, that might not matter. Apparently she ran away from home to be a musician by all accounts.

Joey Dee and The Starliters. Not sure how reliable this is, but this page gives approximate dates of birth and probably more importantly places of birth for the band: https://strathdee.wordpress.com/2010/09/02/ Admittedly it is ten years ago....

Heavens all these are a nightmare. Anyway.. Duane Eddy and The Rebels. Found this clipping online from 1958, which indicates Mike Bermani was from Los Angeles and Ike Clanton (born Gordon Clanton) was from New Orleans, Louisiana. That might help with a bit of research. Not sure if it's the same guy, but this page gives a date of death for Ike Clanton of 9 June 2004: http://www.45spaces.com/deaths-of-notable/a.php?a=ike-clanton as does this page: https://rateyourmusic.com/artist/ike-clanton I think Buddy Wheeler is actually Buddy Wheller, as that's how he was credited on the albums I have seen. Of little help otherwise. Edit: Crap, missed the link to the newspaper: https://www.newspapers.com/clip/8148357/grace-granger-and-duane/
