Aww Biblio, been there with the grandfolks, sometimes when there's no longer any recognition of family, it's a release. However, never a good occasion especially when the last of the generation. Thoughts with you and yours.

Right, watched it now. Nobody should spend around an hour watching the middle and the beginning of a story. Excite us with some brilliant amazement from a character that gives us a moment of deduction, right or wrong. Literally nothing in that gave us anything, ee bah gum fam. I was hoping for Mondasian Cybermen at least, maybe I missed that. Left the viewer out of any engagement or participation. It's all being written for a bunch of Who bananas, one handed wankfest. I've watched this show forever and come to everything new everytime, willing it to surprise, excite, fear, make me laugh and cry. Now I'm expected to hold my feelings and astonishment for fucking weeks without a bone being thrown to my speculation, then hope I can backwards work it, assuming I can understand what ilkley moor bar tat shite comes forth. I watched Midnight again today, and couldn't finish it, everything was magical and frightening. Today I'm between chapters in a poor penny dreadful. Gawd help the kids today who have no stories, only massive arcs or 5 minute resolutions in a 45 minute soap opera.

Chibbers would like to bring back old companions like Ace and Amy Pond. Respect for the show's history, or an apology for the forthcoming destruction of accepted canon?

Glass of Champagne is one of my karaoke songs, so a gift for me. Early 1960s UK top 3 single, this alliterative artist sounds like he could be your plumber!
