As I can't find another musician with the name I'll suggest that this is a death notice for the Ray Swinfield who played flute on Penny Lane: http://announcements.telegraph.co.uk/deaths/236611/swinfield If so, he also played on music heard on Mr Benn and the soundtrack for Chicago, played with Johnny Dankworth's Orchestra and recorded music with Roy Castle and separately the Play Away presenters.

I was at university when we were discussing the plight of the Kurds and by jingo that was a long time ago. Now it appears that USA has become a party to possible genocide, standing aside and looking on as Turkey does what it has always wanted to do. ISIS fighters will dissipate across the globe, Turkey will turn its face to Russia and Iran if the USA threatens repercussions. There's no up side. I wonder when the people and politicians of USA wake up and find their Commander In Chief only does things in foreign policy which assists Russian ambitions. And we thought Bush Jnr was bad, but at least he was a patriot.

Nope. I'm assuming it's a groovy beat, on principle I'm not about to start listening to them now. Ha!

I'll admit that in all my years on the planet, I've never once heard a Cream track. However I've been aware of them ever since I got a book out of the library (remember them? Libraries?) on 60s bands when I was around 13/14 and there they were mentioned. Imo, this is a bit of a lucky strike for the Committee given Ginger was gigging about last year. I think they needed an ingredient for the List, and suddenly Ginger becomes the dominant flavour. But a hit is a hit.

Just like The Master, the sound of drums was too much for Ginger Baker. Two players had him as a sub. Yorkshire Banker draws 2 Diamonds - 2 Points added. Death By Arsenic draws 6 Diamonds - 6 Points added. Leaderboard updated.

Political Discussions And Ranting Thread

I'm missing something, clearly. Everyone's baffled as to how the UK can leave the EU on 31 October if an extension is asked for and granted. Simple. UK fails to nominate an EU Commissioner. EU law requires automatic expulsion in that event. Bawjaws goes to Court to enforce that if necessary. EU law will take precedence over any UK law. Is there something which impels Bawjaws to nominate? -
Now he's had two, maybe he'll stop attacking the top "one per stent".... *coat*
