On the bright side, this means that for the Tories the polls have turned the corner...

I'll bet Brian tried to sell him one of those "Bust The Dust" things he pushes on the ad breaks.

He's out of his diapers, nurse!

She got a BBC Russian language obit which obviously doesn't count.

Pity, I rather liked him. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c844pqyld84o His barely contained fury at Johnson for partying while his grandmother was dying was something to behold.

Julian Knight, former Tory, to stand as independent.

Starmer in Scotland. I recall when the SNP wanted to set up a publicly owned energy company for Scotland. Blocked by the Tories as it was a reserved matter. So Starmer's great idea on a national level is simply a steal. Given Scotland provides so much clean energy already (and which Westminster claims disproportionately towards its net zero target), there are still the structural issues where Scotland provides the energy but on average bills are higher here (simply because it is colder and wetter). Hardly fair. Also, there is nothing to stop a future Government selling off this marvellous company. Every possible asset has been sold off to the private sector. I don't like their rehash of PFI. The public sector is crushed in large part by the costs associated with the Blair years PFI. A lot of what he talks about are matters under the ambit of the Scottish Parliament which is not part of this election. Now if he is going to provide more powers and levers to the Parliament here, that's what he should say, but silent on that. Some of us remember promises made to Scotland in the past. Labour's referendum on Home Rule and Thatcher's unfulfilled promise on that. Labour's promises to introduce tuition fees, ditch free prescriptions and close hospitals. They are a bit hapless on Scottish specific policy.

It's a first. He could conceivably go to prison - aggravation of election law to get elected President sounds pretty good for serving time. Practicalities are for the prison services I'd imagine, not the Court. What Republicans should do is dump him and get someone in to address all the problems he says America wants solved. They won't do that, and that is trouble for everyone imo.
-
Sirhan Sirhan for the win! America will forever be stained with January 6th. This is fries with that. I'm sorry America ever elected this guy. I'm sorry America could elect him again.

Guilty on all counts. Orange jumpsuit for DJT.

Conveniently neglects to mention his "Let them die" quip. Conveniently neglects to address the lost WhatsApp messages. If this doesn't lose them the election, nothing will.

Sunak asked the tough question by someone who lost his mother while Johnson and Sunak partied during COVID. How can we trust you? His response? Yeah, I protected business and you got to know me through furlough, so sorry about your mum, but yeah, I did a great job.

Ah, she's now posted about it: https://x.com/HackneyAbbott/status/1796163157116780894 Ok, which one of you is Diane Abbott?

Nice, maybe Suzy Eddie will be able to define what a woman is for Starmer. Or indeed Parliament. Or indeed the UK. At least we know where Rishi stands - if you were born male or female, that's the way you stay til you die. Prick.
-
And therefore their votes no longer matter to her? Absolute disregard for the voters of Dalston who helped get her elected last time out? "Here's my book, the unions support me, bloody Labour party, I want Labour to win". The measure of the woman.
-
Instead, her latest tweet is about her plugging her political memoir.
-
Maybe Diane Abbott should stop tweeting about her selection or the support she has got from Unions, and make a statement on the shootings in her constituency. A 9 year old girl is in a critical condition.

Report of local professional Bill Ferguson's death: https://x.com/LeedsGolfCentre/status/1796127733061128455 Only notable as he is the guy who tutored Colin Montgomerie, and gets a mention on his Wiki page.
