Not sure if this is the first hit in this pool, but I picked Shane Rimmer here.

Report of the death of Joe Flannery, business associate of Brian Epstein and booking manager and promoter of The Beatles in their early days: https://www.beatlesstory.com/news/2019/03/28/joe-flannery-beatles-booking-manager-passes-away/ I think he was also the brother of Peter Flannery who was the Lee Curtis in Lee Curtis and The All Stars.

I kinda like the blind optimism that Tezza will keep her word. That would be a novelty. "Honest Guv, I'll leave as PM if you abandon all your principles and vote for my slimy thick turd of a Withdrawal Agreement." *Agreement goes through.* "Eat my kitten heels, you little Tory bitches! In your face BoJo!" -

James Nesbitt's (former) father in law, The Rev Sir Timothy Stephen Beilby Forbes Adam, 4th Baronet, death notice: http://announcements.telegraph.co.uk/deaths/232210/forbes-adam Wiki (mention): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colin_Forbes_Adam Wiki (mention): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adam_baronets#Adam_baronets_of_Hankelow_Court,_Sussex_(1917) Edit: Also seems to have had an actress wife and daughter (limited info on IMDB), but Nesbitt's name catches the eye more. -
So for completeness, Ranking Roger has died. https://news.sky.com/story/the-beat-singer-roger-charlery-dies-aged-56-11676140 See this thread for his unbounded optimism and his acknowledhement he's had a great life whatever happened. Still doesn't make it hurt any less. RIP.

Thank you...I think. Discussed on the Jamaican Jamming thread earlier in the year. I don't want to believe it. One of my bands. Also picked Saxa the year he died. Brap In Peace my brother. Anyhow, as he's a hit for my 1983 TOTP team, here's their UK #3 hit from that year from the 1000 episode of the show:

1954 Engerlund survivor Ted Burgin survives no more: https://www.thestar.co.uk/news/sheffield-united-set-to-pay-tribute-to-legendary-goalkeeper-ted-burgin-who-has-died-at-91-1-9672983 Understand he didn't play but was on OoO's list.

Both Brexiteer and Remainer MPs support Bercow. Vote by Parliament to overrule unlikely, unless there's something else more palatable to them. Prorogue Parliament? Maybe, might as well have an election, given the tight timescales set by the EU. Another extension sought in light of that. You know how we used to chuckle at Trump and Bush Junior making the USA a global laughing stock? Well, it's good of the UK to become one now, standing shoulder to shoulder with our ally as being the international equivalent of Pee Wee Herman.

The EU Referendum Hokey Cokey

Pat McFadden has been ill apparently, comes back to ask May to regret her choice of words last week. Meantime, DUP and Conservative backbenchers ripping into PM at despatch box. Crispin Blunt calls her request for an extension "the most shameful surrender by a British leader since Singapore in 1942". Andrea Leadsom still looking like a slapped Afghan hound. Joyous. -
Watching the unrepentant cow now. Refuses to apologise for, or regret, her speech about MPs last week. Talks about bringing back vote but not now as she doesn't have support. Will ignore indicative votes while complaining MPs haven't said what they are for. She's had it. Either evening of Wednesday on result of indictaive votes, or possibly a wee bit later the moment Bercow denies her a 3rd vote (which he will). Party for the country Saturday, which we'll cut short when Gove stands at Number 10 podium, announcing General Election.

So, sweepstake on when she's gone as PM?
