Ah Jericho's December optimism about his DDP entry seems to have been less than well founded:
-
Only in the Beastie Boys sense of the word.....safe!

I considered Can you hear the drums Fernandoooo...however, he wasn't for me. I had a good team (until Ruth S died pre-start) and I was happy with it. Well, until I found out Phelan's tumours were shrinking due to treatment, that Turnbull could live for years with proper care, etc etc, ha! I'm worried I've got sucked in somehow to a desperate attempt to beat last year's score. Don't worry, Fernandooo is practically everywhere else on the other pools for me. Shame he wasn't in Doctor Who, he'd have made the Hare's team!

Ah, Suggs. Mr McPherson is 58 today!

Sounds like they cut Fats out of the deal....

Having reviewed the thread Captain Chorizo has won the Rock Category, but all others are up for grabs. I might be the only person to have a hit in the Rap/Hip Hop section, but I have no idea who two of the Captain's entries are, ha! In order to win the soul/blues section, it's looking like a crap shoot between Fixed Business (Chaka, Chaka...) and myself (Belafonte).

It will all come out in the obituary (which I hope will be a way off, gawd bless him).
-
My info says he was born c 1964, that would tally with what you say Joey.

Just noticed there's a slideshow!! Awesome!

Cheers Spade, that's amazingly quick. Ok, now for the ones I noticed: Dianne Feinsten - also listed under Dianne Fienstein - I presume Biblio's made a spelling error. Gerhard Richter - I presume those folk listed under Gerard Richter also meant this guy. David Graham - I'm assuming that's this guy, rather than the cricketer, given the teams but one might have picked the cricketer...I dunno. Tbh, that's all I could find. Hope this helps.

Betty Driver Memorial Soapstar Superstar Thread

Beautiful man. Deserves a birthday wish. -
Stop the game now! I've shared the lead sometimes in the Inverse from time to time, but outright first, never. Won't last....but I'll savour this brief moment in the sunshine.
