Crikey, I've been through the Outlaws, the Highwaymen, the Shadows (sometime known as the Drifters) and even the Knack, and can't find anything remotely Christmassy. Maybe I should concentrate more on Christmas, than the band?

Well, while I know they can't cover everyone, the Beeb's We Remember this year was pretty good. Surprised they gave so much time to Emma Chambers, but no mention of John Bluthal at all. And Geoff Emerick's omission is utterly surprising. Wouldn't have been a stretch to squeeze Vic Damone in there somewhere.

Also gone are Gordon Wilson of the SNP and Ian Paisley of the DUP. Campbell's older than Cable, but not by much. I'd say Gordon Brown looks like a heart attack waiting to happen....
