Political Discussions And Ranting Thread

Tory absolutely floundering on housing issues on Politics Live. Wants to talk about London (let's all blame Khan). Focus of these bastards still on the the South East (because levelling up is a joke, right?). Look love, if you hadn't allowed the free market to allow the huge influx of properties being snapped up by Saudis, Russians and Chinese, the vast majority of whom leave them empty!!! The massive prices and rents in the Capital are the result of 40 years of failure to protect. And that has fed through to other areas, the demand being for properties outside London. Never mind the two, three, four or more houses snapped up by landlords in holiday areas, leaving the populace of those areas living with their parents until they are 40 plus at least. -
I guess you could also update the line up for the 1970s for the death of Jimmy James. Edit: My fault for not spotting this earlier.

Report here of the death of Jimmy James: https://fmttmboro.com/index.php?threads/jimmy-james-r-i-p.58393/ And here:

I'd like to congratulate you on outliving another Forum name, sir.

Let's just say right now, and nothing to do with Gudrun herself, but the day I heard the theme tune was the day I lost all respect for Billy Connolly. That homophobic line came too easily to his lips.

Essex? A toss up between the 11th Earl and Gemma Collins. Place your bets... -

I predict the grim reaper is going to confound sceptics and be its most powerful yet like a super strong enema in 2024 moreso than recent years equalling or even beating 2020

Derek Draper is hardly a household name. -
Well, there's only this on the Twitter: Probably need the papers or a decent Scottish celeb report.

Just finished watching the documentary on The Jennings Vs Alzheimers on BBC2 this evening. All the more poignant given I knew what was coming at the end. Let's hope that the generations to come will eradicate or be able to control this disease.

Chairman Emeritus of The Irving Group Arthur Irving, reportedly dead: https://www.irvingoil.com/en-CA/press-room/irving-oil-announces-the-passing-its-chairman-emeritus-arthur-l-irving His brother James was picked this year. However, Arthur Irving last picked in 2017 by, yes you guessed it, Blueberry Crumble. So another for the List of the Missed @Death Impends https://www.derbydeadpool.co.uk/deadpool2017/celebs_I.html#irvia0

Dedicated his life essentially to debunking the single bullet theory and questioning the pathology and autopsy reports. Whatever you may say, his arguments really stand up, but the cover up continues. *sigh* We will soon be without these voices.

Wants to build on the success of the last 14 years. He's laughing at you. He's pissing on your chips (assuming you can afford to buy them). It's all too dangerous out there. We know Sunak, look at knife crime. Look at the reduction in Army numbers. Look at our leaky borders which Rwanda does nothing to fix. -

Well done Switzerland and Croatia!! What a horrific competition that actually made the better numbers do well, now I can sleep well knowing the nonsense did not matter. I still wish Netherlands had a fair shake at the vote, another top 3 or 4, that number will be the real winner, no doubt.
