Just caught up with his Who Do You Think You Are? Goes back to his Irish roots and finds...well, I won't spoil it. He looks great for his age and seems the healthiest and most content I've seen him. Good on yer!

Madness had their first hit in the 70s. Brian and Michael? I'm sure there's loads more - Brotherhood of Man, without looking? -
Gawd, this is slow! Anyway, rejected pick for this pool Hilda Hanson has died aged 104: http://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/news/16377178.hilda-hanson-whose-family-had-six-generations-alive-at-the-same-time-has-died-aged-104/ So, no update, but the person who picked her might want to know.

Films with entirely dead casts
YoungWillz replied to Spade_Cooley's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
The death of Jack C Edwards means that according to IMDB, Grandma's Boy (1922); So This Is Marriage (1924); Excuse Me (1925) and Waking Up The Town (1925) have entirely dead casts. In particular, Excuse Me has suffered its second death of 2018 after Lassie Lou Ahern. This indicates that Don Marion (b. 1917) is the last survivor of Jealous Husbands (1923). -

You know, probably safest not to mention her at all, but if you must, how about the Bryan Ferry thread? Seems blindingly obvious to me... -
OldWillz has the opposite view of the UK Pointless. He finds it too slow, full of long looks and pauses during the inevitable Xander/Richard joking and doesn't understand why there has to be a round-up of the scores when they are in huge numbers in front of the contestants. "Get on with it, Gawd!" he shouts. Admittedly, he is getting on and perhaps he feels anything that makes the show less slick is stealing the little time he believes he has left.

Talking of Frank Windsor (in connection with Dear John of all things), he turned 91 earlier this month. Any recent sightings?
-
@Handrejka I can find two kid (at the time) actors who appeared in more than 1 episode - Will Bates and Darren Traynor. Frank Windsor was in one episode for example, but regular blokes hard to come by.

Fairly reliable source indicates that Terry Windell has died: He's the guy that animated the lightning bolts from the Emperor on Return Of The Jedi. Other credits include Ghostbusters, the two Poltergeist movies and ET: The Extra Terrestrial. Oh and directed some Star Trek episodes for TV. IMDB: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0934664/

My Hare's Pool pick is the Sgt Pepper bloke.... Meantime, my only recollection of the actor would have been from Agony, as my late mother used to watch that.

I can't remember what by-line I used for Sepp Blatter, but I do remember I wasn't entirely happy with it. Knock yourselves out. -
