dead Ed Bishop- Commander Straker Cashes In His Chips
YoungWillz replied to IKYWN's topic in DeathList Forum
Yeah the things you do while watching MPs vote. I looked at the first twelve days of June for deaths, tried to tally with those who didn't have the death tag and bump them up. (Thanks mods for the tagging). First 12 days of June are a fertile haunting ground....in addition to those I bumped, there was Billy Preston, Frances Shand Kydd, Guy de Rothschild, etc etc. This year it's Lady Mary Wilson...and the day isn't out yet. -
Fourteen and a bit years ago, Ray Charles stopped loving life on 10 June 2004, aged 73.

The EU Referendum Hokey Cokey
YoungWillz replied to YoungWillz's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Voting has begun on the EU Withdrawal Bill, and the Lords' amendments thereto. Government time limited debate was fairly predictable, usual entrenched positions, but there has been a Ministerial resignation over this, so there should be a couple of defeats in the offing for Tezza and chums. -
Not really, I didn't address your "joke" at all, so I couldn't have analysed it. Just like here, I didn't address Nolan's appearance. I've said it here before, I'll say it again...if you look at what I write, it isn't necessarily what you want it to mean.

Appearing on Loose Women = The Lynda Bellingham Defence.

Correct. I don't see your point.

Nope, I know he's not personally "poor" enough to qualify for whatever crazy health lottery Americans have....I'm making a point...I just don't understand why someone hasn't exercised their Second Amendment rights against the lot of them yet. You are all paying rich people money to make them richer, while you aspire to...what, exactly? Trumponomics makes McCain's plans for the economy during his presidential run look positively realistic.

Maybe he's on his way to Hell, you know, just to check out that special place Satan has reserved for Trudeau and the Canadians....

I'm sure every taxpayer in America is paying for Kudlow's treatment, along with Trump's golf trips, Pruitt's expensive office furniture, Mnuchin's foreign holidays....etc etc etc.... Not only that, but I'll bet one dollar* they are offsetting those costs against their personal gains for tax purposes... (*the Trading Places bet)

After Pat Lally (who got a Times Obit), now former Provost of Edinburgh, George Grubb has reportedly died: https://www.theedinburghreporter.co.uk/2018/06/former-lord-provost-george-grubb-dies/ Perhaps not as exciting a character as Lally, but what a coincidence...

I'm sometimes doubtful that these dates don't tally with all the other reported sources. Had a quick search of the Surrey Birth records and there is an Edward V Johnson born in 1919 in the right area. Can't find anything for 1920. So the obit is likely correct. Edit: Everybody wants to be a Cat, 'cos a Cat's the only thing, who knows where it's at.....
