One team won't need a bookkeeper to count their points for Oskar Groening. On we March....
-
@Spade_Cooley Just noticed that the DDP has two entries for the same person. There's Ben Ferencz and Benjamin Ferencz, who I believe are one and the same.
-
He was a fuck up Russian and I'm not dying in a nuclear attack over that.

Russia practically accused of the poisoning of Russian agents on UK soil. from the despatch box Here we go...

Look, with all these companies closing, it really is simple. Put more money in the pockets of people and they will spend. Stick it to them with low or zero hours contracts, minimum or stagnant wages, growing inflation, high energy bills, houses they can't afford and the economy will suffer. I expect this thread will start becoming hugely active over the next few years. Unless things change.

Yikes, a real superstar. RIP.

Sir Ken Dodd is sadly my third hit on this pool. https://www.theguardian.com/stage/2018/mar/12/comedy-legend-sir-ken-dodd-dies-aged-90 What a beautiful day for having my first drink of 2018. I toast your longevity and your comedy.

First hit in the whole of the history of the Cup. Kind of leaves my strike force depleted.

Ah I Know. It means you have good jeans. Genes. *achieves total coatdom and goes*

Who will be next from that show? Parky? Robert Powell? Richard Stilgoe? Or is it too much to hope that it's professional clothes horse and autocue reader Tess Daly?

While I have no interest in the two sectarian teams in Glasgow, you really have to laugh. The question is asked whether an elbow to the face is a red card. Well, Mr Commentators and Messrs Sports Journos, take an elbow in the face in the street, then ask yourself, was that really an arrestable offence? Tcha!

The death in January of Mary Ruth Kizziar http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/bakersfield/obituary.aspx?n=mary-murie-kizziar&pid=187910397 means that the 1938 Tex Ritter movie Song Of The Buckaroo has an entirely dead cast according to IMDB. Here's her IMDB out of interest: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0045131/?ref_=tt_cl_t4 -

Geoffrey Ellis died in February, but I didn't like to report it as it seemed twitter gossip and I couldn't tie the obit I saw to the man himself. Anyway, the man who was persuaded by Epstein (and who was a childhood friend of his from the 'Pool) to head up NEMS Enterprises now has a Times Obit: https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/geoffrey-ellis-obituary-gtnc22d83 Edit: One of the last people known to have seen Epstein alive. The only other one now surviving is Peter Brown. (He called to say he was ok....)...

Fair point...therefore I look forward to winning this one.

No closing date for this? I pick Gerhard Sommer, that should kill the Nazi off.
