Damn good work. Tbh, I haven't a clue how my points are made up, I'm just made up I have points, especially as I started on minus 2!

Took the bait as I expected. First, not directed at you specifically, it goes out to most current users of this site. It's a mess, overall. Second, Haven't clicked your links. I don't dislike you, it doesn't help your cause that you have a hate figure as your name. I have positively liked some of your posts, but not everyone who sits in the House of Lords is a politician, and there is a hastiness to your posts. Don't accept help or guidance when it's offered, I really don't care anymore. Third, my post was my parting shot at the main forum. Tata.

Yeah, now all they have to do is learn how to search the forum, quote people who have mentioned the person involved and thus give credit and post in a correct thread and they'll be perfect..

You are bloody correct there. Even as a young lad, I saw Tegan snickering...

Any story that writes out the dreadful Tegan is fine by me...

I didn't think it was possible for anyone to deliver humour as badly as George Osborne, but step forward P Hammond...jeez. Even colluded with Tezza on a cough sweet staged act. Meantime, Corbyn could keel over anytime he's so apoplectic.... -
King Arthur stayed at the Excalibur once. He pulled.

Ah, a pretty short sentence then..

Kamala is off the ventilator apparently...

I was more a Danny Bonaduce boy back then if I'm honest. David Cassidy was just that too bit well, boring, on The Partridge Family. And before you go accusing me of all sorts, Bonaduce is 7 years older than me.
-
Radguy thinks he loves points as Cassidy hits. No bonuses, leaderboard updated.

First: It gets attention focused on Trump again. Good or bad, he wants to be the centre (or in his case, the center) of attention. Second: To equate the various degrees of molestation (however abhorrent) again falls into the hands of polarising the whole deal and again divisiveness (between Dems and Reps, men and women, black and white, yada yada yada) is meat and drink to the Pres. Snogging a grown up without her consent isn't nice, but when did she believe it was time to complain about it? Adults often regret what they do, but they are in a position to take it further. Even without witnesses, if she complained about it at the time, even to colleagues, it could have led to further action being taken. But hey, why not wait 11 years and the jump on the bandwagon? Franken's actions do not appear afaik to be a course of conduct, but focused on this one individual, to whom he should and has apologised. On the other hand, 14 year olds are vulnerable young people generally and are entitled to take action later especially when it becomes clear that they were not alone in receiving the attentions of a grown man nearly twice their age. There is the possibility of molestation or statutory rape here, possibly with the collusion (hey, there's that word again) of the mothers, who the teenagers would be likely to want to protect. They are not equivalent in any way. Trump has chosen again wrongly and bigly. -

Tbh, is this thread significant? Obviously it's poolers' personal opinion on who was the most significant death. I base mine on significance by using these criteria: (1) World famous (preferably British); (2) Their loss to a specific field or specialism, or alternatively (3) Their contribution on a worldwide scale to something, whether famous or infamous. Therefore it's not necessarily the death itself that is significant, it is the person. Manson's crimes and his subsequent notoriety, his control over other people, should have shocked the world into never ever allowing someone like that to get as far as he did. Sadly, still the world hasn't learned it's lesson, but generations to come will still learn of this creature and hopefully resolve to prevent things like this happening again.
