Just back in from a Summerslam evening with the lads. Thanks to everyone for your kind comments. I'm trying to keep an air of excitement by moving away from naming successful teams so that when the leaderboard arrives, it's a pleasant read. Will be updated on Saturday early hours and who knows what this week will bring? It's either feast or famine, but everyone is still in with a chance with potential hits. This is the beautiful game that Deathray created, I am but its humble servant...

Wow, that is a leap up the board for me and a rock in the road for drol. It won't last, we've ages to go and my mistake of mixing up Stilyan Petrov and Fernando Ricksen is bound to kick me in the goolies before December.

Leaderboard above amended for Jerry Lewis' death. No bonuses, but DI had him as a sub and drew the K Diamonds, so 13 points added. msc and Captain Chorizo close the gap on the leaders and Toast vaults up the leaderboard with another hit.

A few teams had the King of Comedy and everyone slips around again. It's even tighter at the top now....

Had Lewis at the lower reaches, so a minimal few extra for me.

Nearly everyone had All Black Colin Meads, however most cards played were red! Anyway, the following bonuses have been awarded this round: DI - makes his straight of 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and gains 30 additional points. gcreptile - draws an A giving an additional 5 points and this makes a pair of As giving an additional bonus of 10 points. = 15 points. Grave Danger and Toast draw an A each, giving them an additional 5 points. Coincidentally the A Hearts for both players for Meads! On the non-bonus front, both Joey Russ and Shaun Of The Dead had Meads as a sub. Joey Russ drew Q Hearts, giving an additional 12 points, and Shaun drew J Spades giving an additional 11 points. Bigger bonuses should start to kick in, now at least two players have played 5 main cards and the permutations become more apparent. However, as players realise, it's not who dies but what card gets played that can make the difference.

Contains appearances by Trevor Peacock and Colin Baker. But it was even more worth it for the noticeable innocence of lines such as "pitching tents", Dick being "stiff" exploring "Georgina's cave" and also Dick mounting the baddie at the end. Jason Connery plays an airman who gets rather friendly with George too. Worth a watch.

Just had a more detailed look at the old scoreboard. Toast and Widow's Peak had Brucie as a Wildcard and therefore become joint leaders of the highest individual score at this point @Deathray of 458 Points. Yes. it is tighter at the top now....

Well, I've had a quick glance at the old scoreboard and Brucie is a hit. Unfortunately for msc, this means that with Widow's Peak smashing in with a Wildcard, msc remains the holder of the title for the longest time without a hit.

Brucie my 8th hit. Still nip and tuck, though DL generally pulls away at this point. DL - 9 YW 8.
