I dunno. She seemed confident, principled and ready for anything that was thrown at her. Might not like all her policies, but it was more assured than flip-flopping Tezza and "how much does that policy cost again?" Jezza. -
Forgot to tip my hat to DL. DL - 6; YW - 5.

Missed Tiresome Tim on QT this evening as I popped out. Scottish dictator in chief remains untouchable. Anytime rUK wants a proper politician, call us. -
I'm probably more likely to post the death of Egidius Braun first than Errol.

It's this list plus subsequent entries: https://forums.deathlist.net/topic/9035-49-errol-christie/?do=findComment&comment=310177

Ah that's better then. I'll have a think.

So the game finishes on 30 June?
-
^^ Ah, now it doesn't have him dead. Looks like he might have though, there's reports elsewhere though nothing concrete.

Wiki has Roger Smith dead. Predictor from the Ideas and Possibilities for 2016 thread said: "Posted February 2, 2015 ยท Report post After finding out about Anita Ekberg's death just a few minutes ago, I thought of another Swedish-American actress; Ann-Margret. No, not suggesting that she should be considered but instead her husband Roger Smith. He was famous for his role in the television detective series 77 Sunset Strip with Efrem Zimbalist Junior. In the 1960s, he was forced to quit acting due to things like "blood clot in the brain" and "myasthenia gravis." Now, obviously it wasn't life-threathenig since he has managed to stay alive at age 82...but this is not the kind of guy who'll turn 90 either. He is "wheelchaired" nowadays and has Parkinson's disease. I see that no one has picked him for this year's DDP; perhaps a contender for 2016 instead? http://nypost.com/2013/10/05/ann-margret-dishes-on-sexy-legacy/ By the way, impressive to see a Hollywood marriage that's lasted for 47 years!"

So with Sallis and Bayldon gone, who can we add to the bottom of this list?
-
Pope Benedict to live. You can thank me later by giving me my rapture ticket.

"For the avoidance of doubt, someone who famous simply for their longevity is included, but they must still obviously garner a qualifying obit" from the rules. Centenarians therefore are unlikely to qualify solely on this rule. More than likely the oldest person in a country or summat like that. I'll say again, don't give the game runner a hard time!

Sadly, I've only got 2/50 here.

Unambiguous? That wasn't my intention at all. Look again. I haven't expressed a personal opinion on what I would do, I haven't declared what my position on things actually are. I've expressed fears, worries, possibilities but I haven't actually expressed an opinion on what is right, etc. I'm no Phantom to your Zorders. -

What I didn't say was disarm the police or the SAS as you implied! Maybe someone innocent will be killed Maybe it will be your friend, your neighbour, your friendly shopkeeper. Tough on them. I also didn't say crims were not already using guns. Crikey, you do go off on one on a skim read, don't you? It's a fact that the more you arm, the more that is countered, I said it would escalate - it's already dangerous, make it even more dangerous? Even Cressida didn't say that today. And yes, I agree our way of life has to change - I was pointing out the politicians say it won't change while doing the exact opposite. Please count to ten next time LFN, I like you but you do seem to become a foaming fascist every time I post here. -
Right, a rolling hillside of teams knew that Peter Sallis would become Lost of the Summer Wine. Joey Russ had him so maintains his lead with a shake up of the remaining places.
-
Official statement says he died on 2 June.

Peter Sallis sadly gains me a hit on this pool. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-40165443

Phew I didn't have Peter Sallis: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-40165443 Who did?
-
Well done Nobby. Can't promise I'll pick you next time.

A superb actor. RIP.

Interesting query raised - just to be clear, if a sub dies during the game and gets a QO, you get value points for a randomly drawn card for that sub. However that does not count towards the bonuses which are only calculated from your main team. And you do not get 100 points for a sub dying. Rules amended to make that clear.
