It's all very strange. He'd been for an op, sent home, sick for a few days and... The family say the post mortem came back "unascertained" but if that's the case, why was the body released? Anyway, we had a reminisce and raised a glass or two, chicken supper and home.

I don't see the good in this. Scotland have been built up into a team that has held its own. Everyone would have had England and Slovakia through before a ball was kicked. Strachan has been to a WC, been an inspiration and is actually Scottish - playing for the jersey has been a severe problem for players who weren't born here. Who steps in? Name one former Scottish International who wants the job.
