Let Us Bet On The Oscars 'in Memoriam' Package
YoungWillz replied to Spade_Cooley's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
And the award for best screw up at the end. Poor Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty seem to have been handed the wrong envelope. It's hilarious... -
At last a hit for me and probably every other player on this game - Kaufman: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-39099489

Those Hares just cannot stop running. Gerald Kaufman's lost majority means Shaun Of The Dead doubles his points and Deathers breaks free from his tied tussle with rockhopperpenguin.

I shall be staying up to watch the show. I still say nobody has likely "trumped" the Reynolds/Fisher combo. Unless of course someone actually dies during the show. -

Father, forgive me, it's been 48 hours since my last post in this thread. Jeremy Corbyn's speech to the Scottish Labour Party Conference has just added another nomination for La La Land. -
And heart surgery. Just to make it more difficult....

Jeez, I'd better up my reporting rate then! Maybe I should have said probable, but then in Almond's case, it wouldn't apply, necessarily. He'll drop dead of a latent aneurysm now, knowing my predicting skills...see any side game!
-
Nope. I've heard of the film of course.. In fact, I seem to have missed almost all of his career...but then I'm not a huge movie buff.

My job hereabouts isn't to get the Reaper moist, MPFC. I do like to report on sightings of possibles, especially if they have been picked for the DDP though.

Only ever heard of Bill Paxton from Weird Science. Otherwise, he means nothing to me, ah, Vienna.
-
He was in lovely form on Andrew Marr this morning. Has definitely lost some of that smouldering attack in his interpretation, but seems to have a new found vulnerability. That is all..

Nothing reinforces the political deficit more than today. May's trip up north to gloat over the win in Copeland and Corbyn's trip up north to gloat over the win in Stoke. All discussion has been yet again about the campaign, the level of victory, blah blah blah. Remember the days when they thanked the people, reminding them of the vote of confidence in the policies of the parties, the possibility of delivering for the people of that constituency? All gone. Your votes are merely fodder for career politicians counting numbers and salaries at Westminster. The media are no better. I recall the days when they focused on the constituency, when you learned something about the area of the country, the demographics, etc etc. Now it's all about the parties and personalities. Kudos I have to say goes to Andrew Neil, last night. Pointing out that Stephen Hancock couldn't even remember the name of his own party's candidate, let alone the name of the hospital in the Stoke constituency was a joy to behold. A journalist who had done his homework on the local issues, really other journalists should aspire to his level of detail. -

I reported Ember's death in the Radio 4 thread. If I'd thought there was going to be a prediction result, I'd have hurtled here yesterday. No Bruna? Wow...
