I'm assuming this is a death notice for a relative/sibling of the late Christopher Cazenove: http://announcements.telegraph.co.uk/deaths/214999/cazenove -

Talking of which, Richard Madeley is on This Week, another I've met. In contrast, I rather liked him. Hands like shovels. -
Whilst I'm sure he is dead, I would have thought the press would have been on to death of oldest man in Canada by now. Their move, the clock is ticking and I'm fingering my bishop in readiness...

Fiery. Get yourself on to iPlayer and catch up. I was waiting for the fist fight to start...

Having actually met William G Stewart, I'm glad to have someone much less pompous. -
I'll check it out shortly. Question Time's on you know...

I'm rather against the idea personally. Entrants for this game are locked in from the moment they posted. The game is open at any time for new entrants to join, so it all rather depends on when the post was made. I like that. It gives the game its speciality. We really have enough rolling deadpools that when ever someone dies the whole list can be changed, and there is a uniqueness about Death By Numbers that there can be changes at the half way point. In one of the only pools that Shaun runs where there are no changes (except when someone doesn't gain a QO), I'd hate to lose that.

Manson follower and murderer Patricia Krenwinkel up for parole: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4628102/Charles-Manson-follower-Patricia-Krenwinkel-seeks-parole.html Turns 70 in December, but obviously receiving the best of care in the system. Good to bear in mind these crazies.

Say I want to quote the text of a post but in a different thread from the one it is posted in. How'd I do that?

Been holding off myself on reporting on this one until something more concrete came. It's been about 24 hours since I saw the first post and none of the usual chess sources have mentioned it.

Charon, the revolution has begun. I'll nip out and buy us some camos.... -
Actually my young scallywag I have heat and light sensitivity to extreme weather. And in Scotland that's up to about 24 degrees. All a throwback to when I had meningitis as a kid. Summer is and shall always be horrid. 'Mon the autumn!
-
Is that a cup of bleach water I spy? Mwahahahaha....
-
Even in Scotland it's boiling. Heading for highest June temperatures since 1976. I remember that summer well, it was horrid, followed by one of the nastiest winters. Time for Mother Nature to take over reaping duties for the rest of the year.

Ooh, who have you been speaking to? Friend of Boris? -
Twins Hank and Will were 23 in March 2012, so 28 or 29 at most.

Oh god, now he'll be the next to suffer the curse of Joey's Jinx...
