I'd say Bush, Brady, Benedict, Downie, Campbell and Michael. But what do I know? I thought Berry would live, he he. It's in the lap of the non-existent beings...

It's an embarrassment of riches with Rockefeller's death as Death Impends regains top spot, Whoaml becomes a contender and gcreptile gets another hit in what seems like ages. Also, it's my 5000th post. Go everyone!

Not that I miss them overly, but Mugabe and William G Stewart have gone quiet. If they survive the year, I'll consider their real life counterparts for next year.

Had a look at your team. Depends, I'd say you have about at least 6 hits pending....

I saw an interview with him last year. He looked fit, upbeat and very much positive. He was one of those guaranteed to live, imo. Now he's gone, I fear the winner of the Inverse DP will win with a fairly high score. All is not lost...

Former host Deathers duck walks into the podium places, and Rockhopperpenguin and Whoaml also gain from Chuck Berry's departure from the stage.

Might as well Chuck my chances in the bin after Berry's demise.

Oh we know, already on the round up, GP and congrats. Given the character actors ignored by the press in recent years, it's nice to know they can still obit alongside Polish conductors and anyone, and I mean anyone, who was in WW2. I'd like to think the DDP might continue on in future years, has any further thought been given to this? I'm still too new to appreciate fully the devotion that goes into this, although even I can certainly only applaud TMIB's perseverance over the time I have been doing this and can understand why he has indicated it's his last year. Also, I'd like to put on record that while I may disagree with people's picks, notability, etc, I knew when submitting my teams the rules that applied beforehand. To mine own self be true when I submit a team, as for the most part I shall be sorry to see them go, rather than see them as a positive stepping stone to victory. Everyone plays differently and within the rules. So on we go...
