For the record, the obit says he died last month. So he's another 2016 casualty. Indeed, I did notice that. Edit: Forgot to mention I used to see Steve Bronski out and about in Glasgow quite often round the mid-80s. Was in a club in London with Jimmy as well a wee bit later, (or Jimi as he was sometimes called then). Sadly, I never actually met Larry. I'm saddened by his loss and saddened that it wasn't made public sooner. Lovely guy by all accounts.

Who'd have thought we'd be seeing him pay tribute to Graham Taylor?
-
Bronski Beat and The Communards were two different bands, right, both featuring Jimmy Somerville? Both the same kind of gay 80s pop? (and I use the word gay here in the "homosexual" sense rather than any other sense) Yes they were different bands. Huge fan of both.

Hmm, in the event it's too quick for King or Taylor, Smithies might get a mention...
-
Tell me why? Hey, that's one of only two Bronski Beats references I can make. Feels like a personal loss for me.
-
I'll have a punt on King, Sarstedt, Hollingworth, Taylor and Puri.
