Who Do You Think Will Be Elected President Of The United States In 2016?
YoungWillz replied to Joey Russ's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Not bad going for a rigged election. Or is the American political system the best in the world now, Donald? Fortunately, those Second Amendment rules will continue, thus giving some crazies the most powerful weapons in the hands of citizens. It only takes one, so keep your head down, Mr President. Or am I jumping the gun? -

Smackdown was full of 90 second matches. Women's Championship, Styles vs Ambrose was AWESOME, Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan were there and amazing, otherwise incredibly disappointing overall. Raw wins. And you can't teach that. How you doing? -
The EU Referendum Hokey Cokey
YoungWillz replied to YoungWillz's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
As a former lawyer who voted out... Theresa May has form on trying to push through changes to the law by backhanded methods. She was slapped down by Parliament for trying to sidle through some changes by Statutory Instrument as Home Secretary, when clearly it required legislation. There is no argument. The people voted to leave. If the PM does that "illegally" by triggering Article 50 on her own account, then later on there is a challenge to that, the whole process has to begin again. Better to sort it now so that she does it according to the law of the land. If she is right that she can use prerogrative powers, the Courts will uphold that and she can go ahead. I'd rather she did things legally. If it's not legal that she can use prerogrative powers, I'd rather that was decided now, rather than 2 years down the line when the whole thing might be declared to be aborted halfway/90 percent through negotiations, when we'd have to start again. Although I wouldn't put it past the PM to try that route to keep us in the EU as long as possible... -

I thought I heard somewere that he has stepped down recently Yeah, so did I. Oh well, a former president is interesting too. Died back in October 2016 aged 93. https://translate.google.co.uk/translate?sl=auto&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fnos.nl%2Fartikel%2F2139554-molukse-leider-frans-tutuhatunewa-overleden.html&edit-text= A DDP pick. No UK obit as far as I know to date.

At the risk of making this pool more efficient, I have just noticed that I omitted to give Switch one more hit and the relevant points for Gordie Howe, which I must have initially thought was Gord Downie *shrug*. I am updating the scoreboard in the relevant post. Edit: As I said before, if you think you have more deaths than the number assigned to your name, let me know and I'll look into it.

At the Glasgow Hydro tonight to see Monday Night Raw. Ric Flair and Mick Foley were absent, but I don't set much store by their non-appearance. Back there again Tuesday evening for the taping of Smackdown. -
