Yes, only two Brazilians, but the Swedes also played in that final. And the Swedish healthcare system seems to have been better than the Brazilian. Sigge Parling, Bengt Gustavsson, Reino Börjesson, Kurt Hamrin and Agne Simonsson are all alive from the Swedish team. Not Sigge Parling any more. Dead at 86. https://translate.google.co.uk/translate?sl=auto&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.expressen.se%2Fsport%2Ffotboll%2Fsigvard-parling-ar-dod--blev-86-ar-gammal%2F&edit-text=

One for our US contingent. Reported here is the death of Jerry Corbetta, frontman of the psych rock band Sugarloaf, who had a couple of hits in the 1970s. He apparently died of Pick's Disease and passed away in hospice care aged 68. http://www.oldiesmusic.com/news.htm This news won't stay forever here so if I find a proper news report, I'll post a link. Edit: Reported here: http://www.vintagevinylnews.com/2016/09/passings-jerry-corbetta-lead-singer-of.html Of more interest to UK members is that he performed as part of Disco Tex and The Sex-O-Lettes on their late 1974 UK #8 hit, Get Dancin'.
