Sverre Kjelsberg who competed for Norway in 1980 has died at the age of 69. No cause of death, but he had been suffering from cancer from which he was in remission since 2015. https://translate.google.co.uk/translate?sl=auto&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.expressen.se%2Fnoje%2Fnorska-artisten-sverre-kjelsberg-ar-dod%2F&edit-text= Sámiid Ædnan: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CjyD0r2ijUA Edit: He's not the guy in the natty outfit and boots. I got that wrong at first, he's the guy with the guitar by the looks of it.

And will we need some Wayne Static electricity to get him going? -
Nooo, I have a couple of 1981 episodes to go! Loads were missing from 1981 - guess Dave Lee Travis was very busy that year. Peter Powell's jumpsuits were a sight to see though. The return of Kid Jensen, and through it all cuddly Richard Skinner. *rushes off to catch up*

Before I go looking up things. We pick 20 BBC Obit Worthy names but none of them can be picked by someone who has already posted 20 names prior to you and picked a person, right? But when there's a hit, we can then pinch someone else's names as long as we are first to post when there is a restart, right? But we will have to wait for verification and confirmation from you, Shaun, that a hit has been made? Could be worth a shot, though I'm thinking that as the game goes on, the reducing number of available names will inevitably mean a reducing number of entries as the possibilities dwindle. However, the game could be invigorated going forward with subsequent deadpools for the thirties, forties and so on (though I'm unsure I'll live long enough for later versions!) Any start date, or has it already started and is running now?

Here's what I have: Kate Granger - Still getting treatment and more lucid than earlier reported. Bernie Worrell - On his way out. Matter of hours rather than days. Thai King - allegedly recovering well from his recent heart op. Walter Scheel - no news is good news for this one. Leslie Phillips - no news is good news for this one. Liz Smith - recent hoax death, but nothing much. Shelby Westbrook - no news is good news for this one. Pope Emeritus Benedict - party organised for June 28 to celebrate 65 years as a priest. Hm. Rowena Kincaid - nothing since readmission to hospital for pneumonia treatment earlier in the month. Billy Graham - seemingly immortal. Tony Booth - no news is good news for this one. Geoffrey Bayldon - no news is good news for this one. King Michael of Romania - operation in March, tax trouble in May, dead in June? Marietta Giannakou - still in intensive care after heart attack? Irving Kanarek - no news is good news for this one. Lady Susan Renouf - still receiving palliative care? Bruce Langhorne - still in hospice, dying since December 2015. Zsa Zsa Gabor - seemingly immortal. Emma Morano - had a birthday, still kicking.

Nicknames? General Tom Thumb. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_Tom_Thumb -
For those who missed it first time and since. At no point did I mention the person concerned nor was the comment directed at her, the circumstances surrounding her death. Unlike some direct comments I could quote. You have to try really really hard to make that link, and continued discussion that the joke actually made that link is simply wrong imo. Edit: I agree with Handy's comments about hypersensitivity in the wake of what happened...maybe that's the case here.

Hmm, I saw my comment as a self-deprecating muse on me picking the wrong MP, with associated double entendre, again aimed at myself. What has happened is horrific and I would never joke about that.

Did you catch the Ukranian during the hailstone break? Don't think I was looking much at the Ukrainians. Zinchenko is lovely, but younger than I should admit to! Below half my age and it all becomes a bit...weird...I guess it shouldn't bother me. And he has fabulous ears...

Not like me to get my Cox mixed up...cue Cat's gif selection...

He'd be my first hit on my 1980 theme team if he goes. But I'm sure he won't.
