    The EU Referendum Hokey Cokey

We Scots know what it was like a few hours after we voted to stay in the UK, then out came DC on the steps of Downing Street to announce that in fact it was all about English Votes for English Laws. So when Juncker comes out in Brussels the day after the Remain side win and announces ever closer political union, and the European Court strikes down DC's opt outs on the Euro and political union, it will all have been for English Votes for European Laws. Might happen. Just warning you. I'm still undecided.
  4. Good luck and make sure you study young'un.

    Pope Benedict XVI

Well, he was Pope for between 7 and 8 years, so I guess this poll can be closed. Banshee's Scream was right about his resignation, though not the timing.

Bryan Wiedmeier, former president of the Miami Dolphins and latterly an executive with the Cleveland Browns, finally succumbs to brain cancer aged 56. http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/miami-dolphins/sfl-former-dolphins-executive-bryan-wiedmeier-dies-after-long-battle-with-cancer-20160607-story.html Mentioned previously on these forums and in fact a DDP pick this year.
  7. Who were you crotch watching? My goodness, Shaun, you are quite like I imagined you from posting! Dunno if you are still single, but you shouldn't be, so there. Get a lady soon young fella! If I'm honest, was c'wing most of the lads, yes I'm old enough to know better. I was quite taken with the ginger next to the black girl in front of you, I was interested he made such an off beat point during the broadcast about punching a hole in the EU. My mind sometimes works differently, filtering information and coming up with not so simple answers which make others think...and also sometimes think I'm loopy! Good to put a face to the name. Yes you're a good looking fella Shaun. When you say taken by him do you mean his oratory or his looks haha? He certainly took everyone around him including myself by surprise.Cheers for the compliments about my looks.Unfortunately I am very single at the moment. I have a thing for gingers. Don't judge me. Gingers and freckles are my thing. Lardy's on the rampage ha ha. You'll be hooked up in no time, I'm sure. Hope your leg gets healed soon.

    Deathlist Under 45

He was given his own thread, post mortem mind (I don't understand this new trend--but whatever). Just an FYI these aren't all-inclusive threads, it's kinda whoever is first to post decides where they go and that's it. IOW a 40-yr old Estonian gay polician wouldn't get listed in four threads (5 if we include Dead of 2016), though that kinda BS has happened on a rare occasion. SC *huckles himself off to the Cage Fighters thread*

The Cardinals Of The Roman Catholic Church

he was the oldest living cardinal and only centenarian one but incredibly there are no fewer than 6 Roman Catholic bishops aged 100 or over , the oldest being Peter Leo Gerety who's nearly 104. here's a list of them here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_oldest_Catholic_bishops Well, well a Telegraph Obituary for Capovilla and a hit on the DDP: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/obituaries/2016/06/07/cardinal-loris-capovilla--obituary/

    The dead of 2016

It's under bovine attacks.http://www.deathlist.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=8068 Cool, we can put them there then. Makes sense. Still, my search of 'bullfighter' got zero hits, but muttering about the search box is flogging a dead horse. SC Personally I've never had a problem with the search box. On this particular occasion I did the same as you by entering bullfighter and didn't find the bovine attacks thread because the word itself doesn't appear anywhere in the thread. Then I entered just bull and found it straight away. If that hadn't worked I would have entered cow as I suspect you did when you posted there. Bloody hell*, how many threads come up when you search for bull? (*Ron Weasley)
  12. ^^Ah charon, no I double checked and sadly STV took down its episodes of Win Lose or Draw! I appeared on the episode broadcast 1 March 1990 in fact (pretty sure it was that one) Danny Baker hosting, Paul Coia and Jonathan Ross on my team and a couple of Nolans opposite with a delightful Liverpudlian called Pam. Just months out of Uni...

  14. I should probably add the last time I was on the telly was about 1991, I know it's kicking around out there, but probably pointless to post it ha ha.

  16. Ok, so I probably did more crotch watching than crutch watching to be honest, couldn't see a damn pair of crutches or a plaster casted leg. I wonder where Shaun was....
