Couldn't sleep, so thought I'd do a list again. With the loss of both Gary Owens and Judy Carne this year from Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In, I thought I'd conjure up a list of those survivors who appeared in the show as credited regular or guest performers who appeared as such in more than one episode. It does not include people who appeared as characters they created elsewhere, and it does not include people who appeared as themselves. The list has been taken from IMDB in order of most appearances to least, with a little help from Wiki and Google, so the usual disclaimers apply and as always, any constructive comment to flesh out the list is appreciated. Here are your surviving stars: Ruth Buzzi (b. 1936) Arte Johnson (b. 1929) Lily Tomlin (b. 1939) Jo Anne Worley (b. 1937) Goldie Hawn (b. 1945) Johnny Brown (b. 1937) Barbara Sharma (b. 1942) Ann Elder (b. 1942) Pamela Rodgers (b. 1944) Chelsea Brown (b. 1947; d. 2017) Harvey Jason (b. 1940) Moosie Drier (b. 1964) Tod Bass (b. 1964) Brian Bressler (b. ?) Still alive according to this article from June 2015: http://www.oregonlive.com/hg/index.ssf/2015/06/_40million-dollar_floating_house.html Patti Deutsch (b. 1943; d. 2017) Lisa Farringer (b. ?) Status Unknown Sarah Kennedy (b. ?) Became a children's author, current status unknown (not the UK Sarah Kennedy). Willie Tyler (b. 1940) Sweet Dick Whittington (b. 1934) Mitzi McCall (b. 1932) Charlie Brill (b. 1938) Roddy Maude-Roxby (b. 1930) Chris Bearde (b. 1936; d. 2017) Inga Neilsen (b. 1940) Kaye Ballard (b. 1925; d. 2019)

^^I know Sir C, although his former bandmate (whom he sued along with other Sha Na Na members) is the Donny York whose FB post it is - not a bad source I'd say, especially with the detail of his illness which I couldn't find in the other brief mentions of his demise. Note how in this case I used the word "reported" anyway. I'd have thought fans of the film would be all over this news like a rash - who knows? Edit: University officials have now confirmed: http://www.whio.com/news/news/sha-na-na-co-founder-dennis-greene-was-beloved-law/nnZTS/

Oi, I was only following the post above - tbh, I've never heard of Adam 12 lol. And good to see you survived your theatre trip Sir C.

I heard too, but I've been waiting on the local paper to take the article down for most of the day. Marnie can expect to come home to Northants to a lynch mob if she's been attention seeking, but I guess as she's on holiday abroad getting confirmation from any other source other than Judy herself might be an issue for some of the larger media outlets before they publish. The paper did take two or three days before publishing on their website, mind. I'll question mark her in the round up on the DDP thread - if it's not confirmed one way or the other by Friday, I'll remove from the round up.

by premier league I presume you mean the English one, in which I couldn't give a toss, apart from stats for betting purposes, but some things stick. Eg, peter Czeck has lost more home games under Wenger than Mourinhio. Read up a fair bit on German football after seeing the Heroes of Berne film decades ago. Bundesliga formed early 60's and that was the return of Professionalism. Really sad re Milne, outstanding player, only 54 ffs, demons of being Scottish have hit him hard. He 'may' be in the photos I posted in the extra curricular thread on footie, re the match fixed semi v Roma. Damon, eh, Buford??? is the man to ask though, he's the utd fan on the forum. Milne dead. http://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/spfl/former-dundee-united-star-ralph-milne-dies-1-3879372 No liver or women to beat up on any more.

This is classic politics. You are PM or President of a country. You want instinctively to help genuine refugees. However, your bank balance isn't what it was, your world status is diminishing, despite the delusion your own people are under that you are still a country that is great. You are faced with an influx of people you already cannot control and which your people are in the main crying out for it to stop (indeed you are having a pending referendum on it). Your people then accuse you of being heartless and cruel to ignore refugees from another part of the world, which immigration you actually do have power to stop. They gather people from other countries like Pakistan, Afghanistan etc etc who are also fleeing. You are also faced with a worldwide terrorist threat based on religious wars (as old as time) and the fear is that this movement of people includes people whose intention is to move under cover of this crisis to settle across countries where they wish to impose their laws and religious beliefs by any means necessary. If you block them, they will settle in countries with which you have a free movement of peoples agreement anyway, and in due course you won't have power to stop them coming anyway. What would you do in that position?

Been out this evening, come home to this news about Rico. As a ska boy back in the late 70s/early 80s, I'm really sorry to hear this news. RIP Rico, such an influential figure for me. Proper piece of my early teenage years gone.
