Came across this thread, so thought I'd list the survivors as of today who are relevant: Ray Galton (b. 1930) Alan Simpson (b. 1929) Andree Melly (b. 1932) Warren Mitchell (b. 1926) Rolf Harris (b. 1930) Burt Kwouk (b. 1930) Anne Reid (b. 1935) Liz Fraser (b. 1930) I've only included original TV and radio and not the re-recordings made in 2014.

Going to post this here, as I don't see a Tom Jones thread (though I'll be starting one next year if he lives, just because he deserves his own piece of history!). The Voice judge has had to cancel an appearance in Saint Tropez, due to an upper respiratory infection. Rest of tour expected to go ahead. http://www.tomjones.com/news/les-soirees-de-la-citadelle-saint-tropez-cancellation/

Ah yes, the episode that includes this creepy little moment: https://youtu.be/pkAi2obw1Lo At the time, nothing; to today's viewers, yep, just a little creepy.

I'm too far away too, probably too new to be a fully fledged Conventioneer, plus that's my birthday week so I'll have events planned at the time, catching up with all the folks I haven't been seeing while I have been staying in, winding up my brother's estate. I'd really like to come along one year though, "or summat" lol.

David McAlister, UK stage, screen and voice actor who played Dennis Richardson in Hollyoaks, died on 26 June aged 64 from cancer. He was also in The Archers. https://www.thestage.co.uk/features/obituaries/2015/obituary-david-mcalister/ Just checked IMDB: You can add Triangle (in which he played a doctor), Doctors and Holby City. But more importantly he was the Megara voice in the Tom Baker story Stones of Blood for Dr Who. With all those doctor parts/shows, you'd have thought he would have had longer. RIP. -
