Yet another pianist dies! This time it's Ronald Stevenson at 87. No points as yet, still awaiting a qualifying obit. http://slippedisc.com/2015/03/music-mourns-a-great-scot/ And another Ron, Ronnie, Ronald....

I have a feeling that Jorgen Ingmann's death will be covered in the live Eurovision show on the BBC. Given there is no written obit as yet, I assume this will count if covered? Just a thought.

I'm amazed as you are MH, sadly in the UK unless you are a footballer or darts player, I think it less rather than more likely for a qualifying obit. (Ooh, darts players for next year...*makes note*).

I think it's fair as it stands (although to some extent I don't understand why the Belfast Telegraph isn't included, British rather than UK, I guess?). There is an element of skill in picking obituary worthy nationally in "Britain", I wouldn't want to see it opened up to first ladies of US governors and the like, or even this story about Gary Dahl, inventor of the Pet Rock, unless he was obit worthy in the UK. http://sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com/2015/03/27/gary-dahl-bay-area-inventor-pet-rock-dies/

I'm more "Canadian" than these Jamaicans the Canucks have been borrowing for the past couple decades, including this guy, eh? You SHOULD have better posted this in the Ironic deaths cuz a runner died whilst swimming. SC I'm afraid the Canadian Government have brought this on themselves by granting him citizenship. Like most governments they don't realise the consequences that will follow. He might have been just another ten-a-penny Jamacian, but no, here he is, drowning and getting himself on this thread. It's not for me to question

How many SNP? Well, on that analysis and assuming that all the 5 independents lose their seats and George Galloway is not re-elected, Deathray accounts for 622 seats to which you have to add the 18 Northern Ireland seats. You must also add in the Speaker who is neutral. Therefore that would mean that Plaid and SNP would be left to share the remaining 9 seats, i.e. the status quo (currently 3 and 6 respectively). Personally, I'm not sure either of the two main parties should be banking on achieving any more than about 285 seats at the current time, but that's just an impression from polls and information I have seen.

Wasn't wasted on me, in fact just last week I watched all 3 series and the Christmas Special on Youtube. One of my favourite shows ever in my otherwise awful childhood. I was considering a DDP team but after counting the actors and even production team I couldn't reach 20. Tragedy of this show is the young man who played Matt the stable lad, Sean Flanagan, died in 1981, only 3 years after the show finished. The quality of actors in this so called children's show is amazing, though I do guess after about three series of "spirit" jokes, you do begin to run out. They don't make them like this any more, sadly.
