Not really. You only need a list of 23 to be even money for 2 to share the same day, and with 23 , a triple birthday is around one in six chance. Can't be added working it out for fifty, but it isn't really a coincidence. Thanks Charon, not a statistician myself, I think I noticed a couple of others who shared a birfday. Just bored that night, thought it was interesting given that the people on the list also had to have some kind of fame in addition to being on a list, not simply 20 or 50 randoms (ah, that brings back my youth in Glasgow's underbelly club scene). Peace, YW.

Narrow miss with Leslie Phillips, there's still time...

The main deathlist has 3 people (Zsa Zsa, Patrick Macnee and Denis Norden) born on 6 February, which out of only 50 is somewhat of a coincidence. Two teams in DDP have these three as well, 3 out of only 20 picks. Let's hope they are not all travelling together that day for a joint party! Was passing the time, don't get out much since my bereavements and my recent heart attack. Shame I'm not famous really...

Betty Driver Memorial Soapstar Superstar Thread

Maggie Jones. I was trying to think of the 4th myself but I'd forgotten about Bill Tarmey! she died back in 2009. Wow!! Feels more recent than that. In that case I've got no idea who Guest Guest is talking about!! Lyndam Gregory (Sammy Patel) was last year, but I'd hardly class him as major... -
You could add John Noakes (Blue Peter) to that list. I didn't realize until just now that he turned 80 last May. You mean we could "Go With Noakes". Well, he did look...tired on Pointless last year. I'll add Michael Rodd and Judith Hann, just cos I just remembered them.

Every year there is a "surprise" death, one from your childhood perhaps who suddenly curls up after being out of the spotlight for a while or one who is incredibly active and just goes too soon. If they survive this year, my suggestions for the ones that make you go "Awww!!!" are: Heinz Wolff (Egg Race); Brian Cant (Play Away, etc.); Jim Dale (Carry On Actor); Derek Griffiths (still voicing ads in the UK, amigo, Kids' TV presenter); Julia McKenzie (Fresh and French Fields); Miriam Margolyes (almost anything you've ever seen).

Two reasons firstly my dad has the same name so I'm the junior version, and I look quite young for my age, folk are always knocking off about 10 years. Indeed, I was mistaken for 27 on my 45th birthday. I did check, she had 20/20 vision, btw.

Australia has the Voluntary Euthanasia Party, lingering and twitching famous people could really take advantage. Enough deadpoolers on here to stand in every constituency? http://www.vep.org.au/

Couldn't find him on the forum, John Bayley, hubby of Iris Murdoch http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/obituaries/11360441/John-Bayley.html

My condolences - sending you coping vibes too. Many Thanks Random, we also got news that my aunt in America died the same day as my brother. We have the brother's funeral today, but last night discovered we had a gas leak. We now have ready made holes in the ground outside the house. Wish we had known before we organised the cremation! It's going to be a long 2015! My condolences on your loss too RG. Peace.

The man who would be king - Dennis Healey on the 26th.

Alex Salmond as Ed Miliband's Deputy PM. Swathes of celebrity tax dodgers throwing themselves off the top of the nearest accountants, and daytime celebs choking on a British Bake Off Battenberg, should keep us busy for a whole fixed term parliament.

Sorry to hear that, my sympathies Rad. When a strong person lives so long, it sometimes seems they are invincible, all the more shocking when they go. Peace, YoungWillz.

My younger brother passed away this morning. He was knocked down by a drunk driver while on holiday in Spain 26 years ago and since then had been severely head injured. Due to our then fantastic health care and latterly home care by my parents and myself, he lasted until today when a lung infection finally did for him. My best friend whie growing up, will miss him so much.
