Sixteenth hit with George HW Bush. And yes, sixteen consecutive BBC Obits.
-
Yep, my 6th hit here.
-
Well, up to 9/50 here with George HW. Can I scrape double figures?
-
George HW Bush is my 13th hit here.

Well, missed that one for the Advent Avalanche, he he, though I think local time might have affected it, then everyone would argue over the Hewlett rule and it would go on and on. Anyway, I have some updating to do and claims to be made where I picked him. Far as the DL is concerned, you do get something for a pair in this game...

Well, I had to pick a Scot...it's St Andrew's Day! And he's an Andrew....
-
As I say, don't care, not a pick for me so I haven't been anxious. However, maybe someone with more time can check the List of the Lost (about time that was done anyway). I'd observe that when I was doing updates here, that source wasn't considered by me as a valid source as it wasn't on the rules page.
-
You'd have thought that virus might have killed off some more picks over the years..... (Goes to Charity Shop for a new coat...)

Andrew Fairlie.

Ah right, because when I looked at this list (Nov 13th), the i wasn't listed. Doesn't bother me much of course, I was one of the first to mention Vanessa on the Forum! There has been a refining of the rules as to what qualifies as a legitimate obit: To win points, there must be the mention of a celebrity's death on a national online news source: BBC*: bbc.co.uk/news bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts bbc.co.uk/news/business bbc.co.uk/news/education bbc.co.uk/news/uk (that's UK in general, not it's component parts - Scotland, Wales, NI etc) bbc.co.uk/news/world bbc.co.uk/sport bbc.co.uk/newsbeat bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics bbc.co.uk/news/magazine *This excludes local news pages on the website. Or from the UK versions of the following: telegraph.co.uk thetimes.co.uk ft.com theguardian.com dailymail.co.uk express.co.uk dailystar.co.uk thesun.co.uk mirror.co.uk morningstaronline.co.uk metro.co.uk (this exludes references on the death announcements sections of broadsheet websites) ...or from these news sites: uk.reuters.com news.sky.com/uk skysports.com itv.com/news (this also excludes local news pages) channel4.com/news

The i is a qualifying source? Sorry to ask, but the DDP site is down. I just didn't register it as a QO source....?
-
Well, thank goodness that doesn't give you repetitive strain injury in order that you could write that down for us.

Tezza's in Glasgow later today "to sell her Brexit plan". Sounds like they won't need a leadership contest after all. RIP!
