This could be a new trend that Ali started. Most celebs born 1942 ran away from Thanatos a few times. Stephen Hawking, Aretha Franklin, the above mentioned, Billy Connolly.....

One Last Thing To Do Before The End...........
ImNotHades replied to Lord Fellatio Nelson's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
I would do nothing. No need for happiness if you're dead.....I won't be able to regret it when my ashes is at the bottom of the sea. -
No thread is pointless, they all have to die someday.

Someone say something. They predicted the future.

Literally by anyone....McCartney, Cher, Liz 2 and a bunch of others.....people love pop stars more I guess and there's the fact most young people thought he was dead already (including me just a year ago) and not to mention everyone saw it coming....give in to all that the news people hold the power to make someone's death a big deal.

It's June and deaths are getting bigger. Wait for it. Although Ali's death was not as greatly followed as that of Prince here in Croatia or most Europe.....He got a treatment that Nancy got.

Since when is she ill? For a 70 year old woman she's holding just fine.

I miss the old one. It was so tiny on PC and looked so dated it's the advantage of modern age, you can change the design as much as you like.

I love the new death list look someone heard my prayer, at least now I don't need to zoom in good job

I got a task for you guys. An interesting one Glynn Wolfe had 29 wives (and I can't even find one)....so 4 of his wives died while married to him and one (Bonnie Lee Bakley) was killed by Robert Blake. So my question is, who of the remaining 24 is alive? Don't ask, I'm bored because I'm waiting for the storm to stop......

So do I get 7 points for Ali?

As for Ali, I never was a boxing fan and the only boxer I knew was Ali and I heard about him in elementary but realized his importance in 2008 when he attended the Olympic games. I never was a fan of him and never will be but he is one of the people who marked the 20th century and now his name will be carved in stone forever. It was great to live in times to see all these people. RIP Ali.

Think he will be Ok this time but it is obvious he is getting closer to the end and his health is getting worse, if he does die he will be the biggest celebrity death of the year which is saying something considering the deaths we have had this year. It will be a sad day when he does go as he is a true, true legend. I agree. It looks like he'll pull through this time. It's just a precaution. There are other names I'd rather see go like Fidel Castro or Jaoao Havelange For me personally Ali can't top Prince or Bowie, if he dies he'll be the 3rd biggest death for me this year.....1st is Prince, 2nd Bowie and 3rd would be Ali but we're only at half year and there are a few gems left Aye, but you wait until the world's media start lauding him and his achievements. A biggie when he's finally counted out. All 3 of them (4 including Nancy) were of historic meaning. All of them tried to change something and were controversial in their own right. I think 2016 is getting spotlight in this decade, unlike 2015.

Fairly balanced report on the BBC News tonight, basically he'd been seeking help because he was becoming hooked on painkillers which he was using to maintain his ability to perform. He should've based his style on Val Doonican I do get it that he got addicted but what I don't get is why he waited so long to do that hip surgery at first place.... well, poor man.... Cos he was PRINCE and he was FUNKY so he was probably in FUCKING DENIAL about the whole thing. could it have had something to do with him being a Jehovah's Witness? The pills were also "against" Jehovah's.....nothing here makes sense....oh well, it's too late now, he was obviously stubborn or just stupid or he didn't have a friend to hold his hand....i don't know...

I hate to use Bowie for another example of album release But he didn't do a full media tour to promote it. Nah, I see him dead of a heart attack at 78, no worries there

Since no one can see the Ask a Deathlister thread I'll just post in here......what day did most celebrities die? You know like 29th June - Roscoe Fatty Arbuckle, Jayne Mansfield, Lana Turner, Katharine Hepburn or 2nd February - Boris Karloff, Sid Vicious, Gene Kelly, Philip Seymour Hoffman.....20th January - Barbara Stanwyck, Audrey Hepburn, Etta James....

Kris Kristofferson (well how the fuck do you spell it then?), has lived a rough old life at times and he's 80 this year I doubt Boz would have any impact in the news section at all, Kris on the other hand could be noted.
