His mental health is so fragile that I wouldn't limit the potential causes of death to drink. REALLY hard one to all, but he's one of ours, inescapably so. True that, people commit suicide and have accidents and walk in front of cars when they're drunk. But the primary cause for concern would be the physical damage that it is doing to his body. The case of Paul Gascoigne - like that of George Best before him - is so grim, bleak and sad - it should serve as a warning to everyone of the dangers of alcohol. These photos should serve as a warning to others, particularly young people, of the dangers of liking alcohol too much. Kids need to be educated more about these things, and just about health in general. It's got to be a lot more important for most people than physics or mathematics. Heavy drinking? I've been there, done that, and then stopped completely and never went back - which was the best thing I ever did. Well, probably the second best thing, actually.

Who gave her the pearl necklace? Well spotted! Hope there are more astute observations like this to come...

Nah, she could see him out. I don't know, don't see Waters going anywhere fast. Except in court on racism charges. http://www.timesofisrael.com/adl-sadly-concludes-that-roger-waters-is-an-anti-semite/

And of course, there's the Pink Floyd song. Vera. I bet Roger Waters didn't think she'd still be alive in 2016 when he put that song out in 1979

I know I put her on my list this year, but right enough, she does look good for 99! Expecting the usual responses of "I would" to this photo...

'Kes' author Barry Hines dies aged 76: http://www.itv.com/news/calendar/update/2016-03-20/kes-author-barry-hines-dies/ I remember that book well ... Hands off cocks, on socks! It will probably be Bernard MacLaverty next time...

John Cuntlips? Those are some classic children's TV shows though

Daniels was too busy being racist to nonce, imho It just said on the news that he "couldn't be sure that all the women he slept with were over 16"
-
What do you think the odds are that this time next year, a whole series of revelations about Paul Daniels will have become public and he'll have been accused of molesting young girls, raping women, and so on? I mean, there does seem to be a pattern with these "light entertainment" stars...

What about the slightly less exclusive 18 to 99 Club? Doesn't have the same ring to it. how about the 8+ club. Steady on now...

Everyone knows about the 27 Club... Brian Jones, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain, and perhaps Amy Winehouse... How about the 69 to 71 Club? David Bowie, Lou Reed, Jack Bruce, Keith Emerson, Edgar Froese, Lemmy...

Apparently so, even though he's the last person you would expect to

Who the fuck do you think you are calling a newbie? I've been reading this forum since 2007 or earlier. And I actually created an account on here in 2007 and made some posts. And if that other thread is such a great thread then why the fuck were major deaths in the musical genre (like Chris Squire for example) NOT EVEN MENTIONED in that thread at all when he died? It's obvious we needed a new fucking thread. It's only an internet forum, can you stop being such a whining cunt? Thanks.

They are now saying Emerson's death was from a gunshot wound and is a suspected suicide! http://www.billboard.com/articles/news/7127455/keith-emerson-dead-emerson-lake-palmer Fucking hell, wouldn't have expected that! Would have thought it would have just been another quiet cancer death or something...

Keith Emerson dies aged 71 http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-35787187 They are dropping like flies! A lot of them seem to be dying in their late sixties or early seventies: JJ Cale, David Bowie, Jack Bruce, Lou Reed, Edgar Froese, Chris Squire, Ray Manzarek, Lemmy are eight that come to mind right now from the past 3 years or so... and now Keith Emerson can join them Suppose there might be a few punk fans celebrating tonight though

Was thinking of including George Martin on my personal list this year, but was put off by someone saying "every time we check on him he seems to be fine". Well next time someone says something like that about a potential candidate, they're going straight on my list.

I remember the day Ronald Reagan died, that seems like so long ago now... June 2004? Anyway another hit, not bad going!
-
Another one bites the dust... Martin Crowe finally bowls out Hit #5 for me this year so far, not bad at all!
-
Feck! Father Ted was a good comedy. A bit of classic 90s TV. From when the world was still half sane. A real coincidence too about the dates.

I bet the Japanese diet and weather has a lot to do with that though. That and genetics

What about the Ebola nurse from Glasgow? Isn't she only famous for being ill? She is always being admitted in and out of hospital.
-
John Wetton still undergoing chemo, 8th round, according to Twitter... good luck to him, he'll need good luck to survive the year IMHO Had meant to check Damo Suzuki's blog again, as this time last year he was ill in hospital but the most recent update on there is, strangely enough, about the death of Lemmy. Nothing about Damo's health but he didn't look good the last time there was news... http://www.damosuzuki.com/

Japanese women do live a long time though...

That doesn't sound too good for her! Wasn't she a porn star or something as well back in the day?
