I took a dislike to her when she started that 'Jobsworth' crap - mocking people who used the expression "That's more than my job's worth." - which translates as "I don't have the authority to let you do that - if I did, I would be subject to disciplinary action up to and including dismissal." which doesn't seem at all unreasonable to me.

Just to clarify, it wasn't 'the Festival' that cancelled the show, nor even the Fringe (which is not the same thing) - it was the individual venue. After he retired he opened a cafe and I remember reading that on offer was the Yogi Breakfast - double egg, double bacon, double sausage, double tattie scone etc. etc. If you didn't think you could eat all that there was an option for single portions of everything - known as the Boo-Boo Breakfast!
